What a Wallet! ....
I ordered the wallet as a Christmas gift this year. Checking it out upon arrival I was impressed with the quality, weight and the metal latch. It also holds more cards than I thought without unnecessary bulk. The design is stunning and the entire wallet is much better than expected. I can't wait until Christmas - he'll be so pleased!

Much sturdier than the other standard fare you see
This is a much sturdier version of the other similar wallets you see for sale at a much lower cost. I've had this one for about a month now and it seems to be holding up well. I cannot say that it holds any more than the less expensive models but it appears secure and does not appear that it would open if I dropped it. The cheaper models open every time I accidentally drop them. Yes, it is more expensive but I found the quality and build to be superior. It also has an exterior that is not so slippery that it slides out of my pocket while sitting on the sofa - a regular problem with the cheaper models. It also looks much more professional. I would buy it again, despite finding the price a bit high.

Great For Cards But Bad For Cash
The Ogon V2 Standard Size Wallet is very well constructed and is all aluminum. It has six pouches, each of which can hold two or three cards. If you are strictly a card carrier, this is fantastic wallet. If you still keep cash in your wallet, this one isn’t for you. There simply isn’t enough room in the pouches. The bills must be folded into thirds and stuffed into a pouch. It’s not convenient at all. If you are a cash carrier, you may want to get the Ogon V2 Large Aluminum wallet. It’s $10 more but there is room for everything in it. Some have complained that this wallet requires a lot of force to get it open. Actually, its quite easy to open when you learn the secret. Don’t place your thumb across the top or bottom of the latch. Instead, place your thumb longways along the length of the latch (see photo). Then press down and pull gently with your other thumb. The wallet will open easily with no bruised thumbs by doing it that way. Since the V2 is all aluminum, including the latch, your cards are completely protected from skimmers. Also, it’s water resistant and the contents will remain dry if it’s dropped into a toilet or a puddle. The Ogon V2 is very well made and is a high quality wallet. It’s made in France and the French turned out a superior wallet. I still carry cash, so it’s not for me, but if you carry only cards, this would be an excellent choice for an aluminum wallet.

Nice quality but slippery in the hands
This item is well made and works well. The inside card holders work well and are easy to manipulate. The latch is positive and not overly difficult to operate. My two issues with this item are the slippery outside surface and the size of the interior of the item. I ordered the option with anime inspired graphics. The graphics are applied via what I think is a vinyl wrap. The surface is smooth and slippery in the hand. I have fumbled this wallet numerous times. Fumbling usually includes launching the wallet into the air, at which point all the contents are automatically ejected from the wallet without a parachute. The aftermath of the spontaneous ejection can be both extensive and embarrassing. Imagine the horror of all your edc personal accessories suddenly revealing themselves to everyone in the self checkout at Wallyworld; bandaids, corn pads, wet wipes, gift cards, spring break gone wild trading cards, and brightly colored intimate encounter membranes scattered across the floor along with my cards and ID. Which brings me to my second issue with this item. Did you notice that I didn’t mention cash in my list of immature ejections above? Well, that’s because the interior of the wallet is just the tiniest bit too small to fit a folded over US currency bill. Therefore, when I carry cash, I have to do so in a secondary container. For fumble fingers me, that might be an advantage. In all honesty, my issues with this wallet may not concern you at all. I recommend buying the option without the vinyl wrap graphics. The standard options have decent texture and are much more secure in the hand. The issue of being too small to conveniently carry cash may be irrelevant to many. The size of this wallet is very well suited to carrying ID and credit cards. Many people prefer plastic to cash, and this item serves that purpose well.

My Favorite Wallet!!
I always love the minimalist style wallets...but this one is exceptional! Hard shell, RFID, what more can you ask for! It's super sturdy and holds all the cards I need!

OK, value for the money
This is a very compact and cheap way to store your credit cards. However, the material that holds the cards is flimsy and tends to disintegrate. Also be careful if you drop this as it will split open and cards will go flying all over the place as long as you’re careful there is no reason not to use this.

Would recommend
Great for overseas trips. Keeps important things secure and not obvious.

Well made
This is an entirely new concept for me. It took a little getting used to, and I had to trim my Medicare and Soc. Sec. cards a bit to fit, as they are larger than credit cards, which is what this wallet is designed to hold. There is zero tolerance for anything wider or taller than a credit card. You will not be able to close the wallet if you try anything larger. And you must limit contents to ten cards, for the same reason. If you are okay with these strictures, you will love the wallet. It is eye catching in the orange color. It feels solid and like it will last for a long time. I keep it in a pocket without anything else, to prevent it from getting scratched up, which will happen if you carry it with keys or loose change.

Have been hunting for a just right sized wallet. I already own an Ogon Smart Case bill sized (not V2 model) which I've had for a few years. I couldn't make myself spring for the V2 model at that time as it was considerably more expensive. The bill size was great and fits bills easily (folded in half) and overall more capacity than I needed. However, not in any way water proof and the clasp is plastic. I dropped it a couple of times and it opened and my cards when flying. I decided to spring for the small, card sized V2. It fixes those problems. Metal clasp and a seal at the perimeter that makes it at least water repellent if not water proof. I purposely dropped it on a few test runs and it does not pop open. A few bills fit if you don't carry many cards - but needed to be folded to card size - which is fine for me. It has six slots (plastic, but held up on my previous unit no problem). I carry about 4 select bills folded down tight (never use, but as back-up) and 8 cards. I'd say that is the max. Size is awesome and slides great into pocket. Expensive, but a step above and should last a long time.
