Buy With Confidence
I love this hood, works really well and looks good. I have mine vented outside which helps massively with extraction effectiveness. It's not whisper quiet on the most powerful setting but nothing to put you off buying. I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy again for sure

Very noisy, poor mechanics.
While aesthetically pleasing I would be hard pushed to recommend this product, installation would have been simple but I opted to drill an outside vent which made the job that much more difficult. Everything went well until I finally turned on the fan, I had tested it prior to fitting but only on a very low setting, just to be sure it worked, unfortunately as the speed of the fan increased it started to (judder) and not just a little, on level 9 it was like an out of balance washing machine bolted to the wall, the motor is out of balance and the hood becomes incredibly noisy and rattles about, other than bolting it with extra fixings I have tried to adjust it, I have moved the mounting point and even padded the rear with sponge draught excluder, it still judders and vibrates along with the noise. I would NOT recommend this product.

Good performance kitchen extract fan.
Purchased this unit to replace older 'curved glass' model. Relatively easy diy installation, although instructions do not mention this particular design. Attractive looking; more than adequate extract rate on mid-range speed setting (used to discharge outside rather than re-circulate); noise level acceptable; easy to use. Good value for money.

Beautiful design
First off, once fitted it looks fantastic, the fan is relatively quiet and unlike the image shown on the buyer page there is no logo. Unfortunately the fixing instructions don’t match the item supplied and the support team seem oblivious. Little thought has gone into the positioning of the two back fixing holes for screwing to the wall, if they were nudged inwards by a few mm then a powered screwdriver would have straight access. Also, why not use whole numbers for the hole centres. Perhaps the CAD guys could change that on the next drawing. Essentially, fit the top hook bracket onto the wall, clip the extractor hood onto the bracket, mark through the two holes onto the wall and then screw into position. I had to remove the front plate in order to get access to the two back holes for marking and fixing to the wall. As it stands it’s pretty good though could be improved by a few tweaks in the design. In terms of use it’s pretty good though could be improved. Currently you need a long press to switch on, then press the right button to put the fan into 1. My suggestion is no long press to on, and go straight to fan 1 when pressing the central button. If you want the lights on they have a separate button for ON and OFF which is great. It’s very easy to adjust the fan speed up or down and has 9 fan speed settings. There is also a 1 min time delay to off button which is easy to use by tapping just the once. Bottom-line, it really is a very good kitchen fan extractor and far better than the one it replaced.
