i used already one box, makes my hair very soft but you have to wash it with a conditioner first, the after a day or two wash with your regular shampoo, i love the hena's smell in my hair. very lovely reddish color & its building up a red color after each use, but of-course it depends on your natural hair color. I used this Hena to help stop my hair from falling down & it really worked like magic. Thanks & i will definitely buy it again & again.

I have used light mountain before. I think I got the old batch as this has no color at all. I have been using this Brand for a long time now. This isn't giving off any color whatsoever. I would like to return it as it wasted my time and money.

It did not come black but purple / bluish

Reasonable price and excellent product. It doesn't damage your hair like conventional hair color. I use it with the Light Mountain light brown henna.

Primero que nada mi cabello es pelirrojo y aunque si me dió un brillo especial y siento que se me ve un poquito más claro, no me pintó el cabello como tal. Yo compré “Neutral” el cual contiene cassia auriculata (no obovata, por lo que no tiñe) un poco de amla (no da color, sólo fortalece) y dice que henna (pero la cantidad es tan mínima que no tiñe). Me encantó el producto, no quería ponerme henna ya que no quería oscurecer mi color natural y la cassia fue perfecta ya que sin la parte del color me fortaleció muchísimo el cabello y me dió mucho brillo. Mezclé el polvo con agua destilada y le agregué 2 cucharaditas de aloe Vera en polvo para que nutriera más, lo dejé en mi cabello por 3 horas (antes de aplicarlo me lavé el cabello con shampoo y no apliqué acondicionador), lo enjuagué en la regadera y ya que el agua salió limpia me puse un poco de acondicionador en las puntas y listo. Lo recomiendo 100%, lo aplicaré una vez al mes!!!

I had previously henna’d hair prior to using this.. The photo with the coppery red is what my haircolour was before with some medium brown roots and a few grays growing in. I was hoping to use the mahogany henna to get a more darker, even tone of reddish brown to blend in my roots.. About a shade lighter than the colour my hair turned out, which you cant see in the photo above. I used Mahogany which I noticed is being sold as “brown” now.. which is the more accurate description of the colour since it turned my hair a dark brown. Not to worry though since I can still work with this colour by depositing a red henna over to get some warmth to the colour. Anyways, the reason why I give this brand 5 stars despite the inaccuracy in their colour chart is because the dye works fast. It oxidized within 30minutes.. (I let it process for an hour) and then it evenly coloured by hair. I did process my hair for 3 hours. The aftermath is glossy, healthier hair which I imagine to be from the amla powder. It also coloured all my greys which is alot to ask for since my usual henna mixtures leave a coppery stain on the first try..

I've been using this henna for years. I combine it with some hibiscus tea and lemon juice, then allow it to sit on my hair for a few hours. I do this every 4-5 months. It gives my black hair a nice red glow in the bright sun, and loosens my kinky hair to defined, manageable curls. My hair went from neck length to bra strap length. A little goes a long way, and Ive never had an allergic reaction. I usually buy in bulk, then freeze the excess for later use.
