So far so good!
We were trying to use our electric heater to warm the pool (southern AZ) and it just wouldnโt warm higher than 58-60 degrees, even after a week of it on constantly. So I bought this cover to try and within a day our pool was warmed into the 70s! Now, after a couple days itโs about 80 degrees. So itโs definitely working. I just donโt know how long it will last with our harsh Arizona sun, only time will tell.

Works just fine
Easy install..not as easy to get straight lines in cutting out pool shape BUT we got it close enough to fit exactly inside pool. It also rolls up on cover reel good.

New cover lays mostly flat with very few bubbles.
We use our pool covers year round on a daily basis, mostly due to hefty water restrictions and fines here in California. They are almost a requirement by the state if you have a pool. Our size cost about $150 and they last about 3 years.

Hope this one last longer
This new cover replaces the exact same cover from the same company. Did not try to have it replaced with warranty for defective manufacture as all the reviews showed the company generally did not support the warranty guidelines. Our cover had the seam on one side come apart almost the entire length. I will have to admit the bubbles were still in very good shape for a cover that was 29 months old. For me the bubbles on other covers in the past have broken down much quicker. I was able to cannibalize the old cover to make a cover for our hot pool so not a complete loss. So this is really a review of the old cover! These covers do work and keep the pool warm, clean, and certainly keep down evaporation. Just always roll it up when not using and keep it out of the sun when off the pool. Don't drag the cover over the cement as it comes off as that accelerates bubble breakdown.

seems to be good quality but
quality seems good but...I ordered a 15 x 30 this unit is way bigger at least 16.5 by 31.5 ,I had to do a lot of cutting

Excellent quality - and I have been through a few covers over the years that said they were 12mil
I have had Intex pools for about 10 years. We replace the covers every 2-3 years and I have had some winners and losers over the years. This is super thick, did not have bad creases or spots that were "popped" on arrival. It fit the Intex 16'x32' pool perfectly with some slack to fit on the rolling remover we built. We roll the covers up in the winter and wrap them with a tarp and truss it up like a roast so they are not exposed to the Oregon winter or UV light during the off-season. I highly recommend this brand regardless of the size you need. It is my best cover plastic quality yet.

It actually did warm the water
It actually did raise the water temp and seems pretty durable. It did survive one thunderstorm already.

Installed in late fall in a warm climate, so far it's only helped with evaporation
I installed this cover in November in Southern California when the sunlight isn't as direct but it's still sunny pretty much all day everyday, but the cover did not seem to add ANY heat to the pool. After I put it on, I heated the pool to 78 F with our gas heater one weekend. After a week and temperatures in the 50s at night and upper 70s in the day, the pool had cooled to 72 F. Without a cover, it would typically cool to around 69 F this time of year, so not only did the cover not generate heat, it didn't even insulate the heat that I added with our gas heater very well - maybe 30% efficiency in heat retention. The only benefit I've seen thus far is drastically less evaporation, but I'm pretty sure any cover, including cheaper non-solar varieties, would help with evaporation. Nonetheless, if I only have to top off the pool every 2 weeks instead of every 3-4 days, this cover will pay for itself in a couple of months. Utilities in this part of the country are priced comparably to gold...For now my review is at 3 stars, but I'm going to give the cover a chance to do its job in the spring and summer when it's warmer. I will also see how well it holds up. I don't have too much faith in its longevity because it's very thin, maybe a bit thicker and sturdier than bubble wrap, and the biggest complaint I've seen about solar covers is that they don't last long, sometimes only one season.Update 13-May-2019: Now that the sun is out, I'm definitely noticing a significant impact in the temperature of the water. On a hot sunny day, it will raise the temperature several degrees. We had an early season heat wave and the temperature went from about 78 to 86 in a few days. The anti-evaporation effect has always been significant, but that matters more and more as it gets hotter.A few things to keep in mind as you decide to begin using a solar cover:1) They are, in general, a pain to deal with, especially if you have an oddly shaped pool, as I do. You basically can't use a reel unless you have a consistent width dimension, otherwise parts of the cover will get dragged over the sides of the pool and over time get damaged while the reel tries to roll the cover. That said, I found the only practical way to deal with the cover was to cut it into sections. I just do the best I can to pull up and roll the sections separately. It's an annoying chore to do every time I want to use the pool.2) I've found that they exacerbate algae problems. The water does not breathe and seems to get stagnant even with filtering. Add a little rain, and phosphates from dust, dead bugs, and plants, and it becomes a breeding ground for algae. The cover itself is also good at picking up and fostering algae. Even if my pool has good balance and sufficient chlorine, I've found the chlorine still gets quickly consumed trying to fight off algae.3) The cover does not keep the pool cleaner. Stuff still makes its way down into the pool, requiring a signficant vacuum job every time I pull up the cover. That being said, they significantly cut down on water and heating costs and can help you extend your swimming season. My cover paid for itself in one month. I heated the pool up to 80 in early April, and other that than I've had to do very little additional heating, and have had to add almost no additional water.

Poor quality, thin material. Seams coming apart at first use.
Cannot recommend due to very poor quality of material . The seams are already coming apart on day two of use. It is over priced bubble wrap.
