I'm looking to buy these for vegas heat (110+). in a coleman 16 quart cooler. would they stay cold 5 hours at least?

I kept 2 of mine in a small lunch cooler under my desk in an air conditioned room and they didn't stay cold for more than 8 hours. Outside in the heat? No way these ice packs are a joke.

Is the volume of "liquid" in each of these small enough to carry on an airplane?

I'm not sure how much the liquid is in the chillers by volume, but I would guess that it is. Though I'm not sure what the rules are when it is in a frozen state since technically, it's no longer a liquid. You'd probably have to check with the TSA on that.

Where are these made?

I have looked all over the ice pack and I could not find where it was made. There are things like :non toxic, do not put in dishwasher, wash only with soapy water. What I did not see was "Made in China". So I really don't know for sure. I have other ice packs that stated they were made in China, so maybe these are not. Sorry that I couldn't be more help.

I see they have what appears to be a cork at the top, can they be refilled?
