1 serving is 2 tabs
When taking into consideration that 1 serving of 1,300mg is two tabs the value for money drops significantly. It works okay. There are better that exist, but also worse.

Short background story: I have been hypertensive for years. Each time GP’s, bless their ignorant cotton socks, made an intervention I was always left a few months later with the problem worsened, especially since the classic line of meds prescribed to control hypertension caused me the same painful symptoms. Of course, my overall endocrine issues could also be to blame. My insistence on the excruciating back ache and simply put, inability to maintain an upright posture made walking near impossible, whereas getting any exercise was out of the question. This of course further worsened the issue of creeping up obesity, despite being on the eating disorder spectrum having not much appetite. Alas, one look at my increasing size, and the fact I had to ask for reviews and changes in the meds, pigeon holed me into the obese and failure to adhere to medication general population GP’s so much like to do, thus allowing for their bias to further “bother” investigate deeper. Of course mentioning smoking in the past and the deal is sealed: you deserve what you are getting. A year ago an unrelated incident and whilst on as I now see it, wrong set of antihypertensives, I was denied access to a particular medication known to exacerbate high blood pressure, even increase haematocrit, and the blood got thicker and the heart pumped harder. Mistaking my fast deterioration in what was diagnosed as a metabolic syndrome and the fact I felt and looked like a zombie, I cleared the board of all meds, apart from the one I was unable to access, that restarting at its previous final dosage, saw me exhibit the most surreal hypertension, no overnight dips, and even the nephrology consultant slapped a “resistant hypertension” label on me and begun a treatment regime which by its nature and aspects targeting, not to mention their comments spoken and written, I realised was driven by their diagnosis being based on the two main factors: obesity as medication non-adherence, never mind my protestations obesity was a symptom of it all and I always took my medicines, until I couldn’t which I always did under doctors’ supervision. And of course the antihypertensives prescribed caused again the same symptoms as all those other ones before. And the blood pressure after a short downward trend, stubbornly returned and camped at 220/150-160! My heart rate stuck on the high 80’s and low 90’s when traditionally and all my life resting heart rate had been 74bpm. Waiting to be seen by haematology in three months, I had to continue at the level of risky hypertension, shut up and carry on regardless. And yet the onset of painful symptoms was literally observed minutes upon taking my meds, and as the dosage got increased to highest they got worse. And the BP remained high, at 200/150! Heart rate at taxing levels still. But my instincts told me, something doctors have always ignored, that the consistency of symptoms and sense I was missing something needed in the process of regulating BP and/or which they needed to perform properly would gnaw on me. Plus I needed to show the consultant how just saying my hypertension is resistant and assuming they knew the causes without investigating why drove me to dig deeper. And keep asking why! My own search brought me to the NO effects o BP as it is a major and proven vasodilator, that helps relax blood vessels and arteries. Another example a year prior had me convinced I was able to have a better BP and that my hypertension was not due to some blockage nor atherosclerosis. So, I got a £5 set of saliva NO test strips and they showed my levels of NO to be on the depleted scale. I got this product along with some other bits and bobs to combat oxidative stress. Mind you my hypertension has already begun to cause organ damage. So it is tantamount it is brought under control. But I never thought I would be sat here writing how L-arginine as my first careful step begun to according to the strips help rebuild my NO stores. Within 24 hours! NO levels begun to rise, and the so called resistant hypertension begun to respond! Within three days, the Blood Pressure monitor showed a drop of BP down to 140/90 with my heart rate having gone down to 71!!! The thing is doctors called mine resistant hypertension but did nothing to check why it was resistant. ARB’s require and assume NO bioavailability if they are to be productive. The speed of response, the timing and the evidence from the strips are irrefutable. And my hypertension is no longer resistant. Currently it is high but undeniably better than it was a week ago, and it is set to get better. Not to mention the fact the pain symptoms caused by the meds are now although as bad as before, I feel I can tolerate them! It boggles the mind that all these years no doctor considered checking my NO levels. They thought little of testing me with nuclear scanning to identify chromocytomas at the cost of thousands of pounds, when a few five pound strips helped identify a vital element in the resolution of a quite life threatening condition. I am amazed myself and as much as I have considered the placebo effect, and even finally the BP pressure pills working, even though they never did in the past, the actual figures, and simple data only strengthens my belief the key was this product. I am sure there is others, or even just having tons of beetroot juice, but I used this one and it is miraculously helping! I do believe I need to balance its use and make it only part of a diet that boosts NO levels, but hey, I can’t say it enough: it works for me a treat! (Every hypertensive patient could potentially benefit from checking their NO levels and seek to rectify a possible deficiency. 100 out of 5 stars from me. That and I can’t wait to rub some consultant noses in it! Oh how much I can’t wait! 😜R was
