Feels secure
As someone that is new to wigs, I was worried about it slipping. This wig grip works great. I do like to add bobby-pins for some extra security. This is a tight fitting item. If you are prone to headaches I’m not sure if it would work for you because it does squeeze my head a bit. I am happy with this purchase overall and would purchase again

Fits great!
Wonderful product! Keeps any type of my wig in place. Almost feels like a layer of skin, it stays so well. Wish it was a tiny bit looser but other than that, no complaints!

this alone won’t work unless it’s cold
it helps but you def need glue too bc once you sweat this will slowly but surely be sliding off your head backwards

Some slippage and kinda tight *Updated*
I'm going to preface this review by saying i have baby fine, loose, wavy hair which makes it difficult to find a head piece that won't slip. So, I know these bands are supposed to be tight so that whatever head piece you are wearing is secure but I did get a bit of a headache, after wearing for 8 hours. There is some stretch so it was okay for me but if you consider your head "big", this may be too tight for you.The wear test:I've worn this twice, once with a head wrap and once with a human hair (glueless wig with headband & combs) and I had similar experiences with slippage.*Head wrap* I did notice that this head band gripped the cloth better than some other wig bands I've tried (velvety wig band w/velcro), that can also be bulky and hot. This one is breathable but I did get SOME slippage and had to adjust it a few times.*Wig* 100% Remy, virgin, human hair, 120% density, about 14 in long, body waveMy natural hair isnt very long or thick so I put it in a low bun and then slicked everything back with this wig grip. I didn't use a wig cap, bald cap method or the clips. I have a glueless unit with built in headband so it should stay in place pretty well however, the cap is about one size too large, which causes the hairline and "sideburns" to lift. I ended up using Bold Hold wig tape (which I recommend for a quick and easy install that you don't need to keep for longer than 24-72 hours) to secure the frontal and left the back opened. I noticed when I started sweating, the headband started slipping toward the back of my head which would've caused the unit to move as well, had I not secured it!I went to the bathroom and adjusted it but by the end of the day, I was just ready to take it off. I know that the volume of my hair plays a small role and the size of the wig cap as well because if it's too loose, it won't grip properly so, take these things into consideration when purchasing/ planning how to use it. This band is worth the value but I think I'm going to try the $30 competition and compare them!We ALWAYS want to feel secure, right?*Updated on 5/18/22*I didn't compare to the competitors but I figured out a way to keep it from slipping too much... Dry shampoo and a little hairspray! I use the Kristen Ess Fragrance-Free dry powder so I have not tried it with the spray kind. I imagine it works just as well. Doing this absorbs excess oil and sweat. I hope this helps!

Get it
It grips so well. And you can’t see it under the wig. I use it to protect my hairline after putting on a wig cap. Don’t need to glue down the cap anymore which is the worst part of wig wearing for me! It really grips and don’t. I’m ordering more.

Not as awesome as I'd hoped.
I bought this because wigs slide up my forehead and then off my head. I must have a big nugget or something. I put my own hair in the nylon cap and then this on that cap. Everything, the band, the nylon cap and the wig still slid up my forehead. No improvement. So, I tried just the grip band on my own hair. It tugged my hair out (I don't have much) and it still slid. Very disappointed.

It's ok
I like it because I wanted more security without a lot of hair pins. The dislike part is that after a while it starts to get tight, by the way I still used hair pins but not as many four the most ,one for the back, one on each side and one at the top. Just to feel comfortable because I'm in and out of scrubs working in the cathlab but other than that it's ok.

Good Grip
Finally something that keeps my wig snug. I seem to have a shape of head where nothing stays on it. Headbands and wig caps just roll right off my head. I’m always pulling at my wig and wig cap to keep them on. These actually stay on my head and keep my wig secure.

Very disappointed
Ordered this product and only received 1 grip instead of the 2 as advertised. Contacted Amazon and got no response. Gave it a try and wore it under my wig today. It didn't stay in place.

Good grip but tight
These grips work very well but they are quite tight and if you didn't have hair or a lot of hair, the bumps on the front and the back would likely become very painful and leave indents in your scalp. I have a lot of thick hair growing in after chemo and it cushions the grip very well. I've had to wear the grip quite a bit to get it to stretch out enough to be comfortable but I find it fairly pleasant to wear now. And it works great to keep my wigs in place. It's other benefit is it is lighter than a velvet wig grip, those make me too hot and sweat. This one does not.

Good non-slip headband
Great non-slip but does leave tiny dot indentations where it meets skin. Just realized that I only received one not two (months later). So confirm you get what you ordered.
