Is this suitable for sour dough starters?

I think it would be fine for sourdough starter. It’s not totally airtight so this jar will let your starter breathe. It’s nice and tall too so room to grow, without taking up a ton of counter space or cabinet space. I’d say try it!

Can you use these for dry canning?

I’m not sure about dry canning but it did come in handy for quarantining our elves this past Christmas.

are these freezer safe?

I ended up not buying the jars but have some sillier to them. No. I would not use them in the freezer. Now some will use canning jars to freeze foods, but on the ones you are asking about the glass I don’t think would be freezer safe. Hope this helps.
