Hubby said he could never have "too many" of these around so I ordered these for him. He's had no complaints.

There is a noticeable curve to the bottom of the clamp which makes clamping items trouble some, as the more you clamp the more it pushes to the side.

Not heavy duty, only for small projects. They’re actually very cheap in quality but got the job done and will probably work for the next job.

These came quickly, and are a good price, and don't appear to be Chinese-made (or they'd certainly be embossed as such, given Xi's penchant for such). And they do function as c-clamps. You'd thus think that the manufacturer would be proud of them.Why, then, is the paint falling off of them? Just guessing, but I'd speculate that they are using a low-volatile paint, not a powdered paint necessitating a subsequent baking booth. This is a very, very cheap, inadequate method, and is far below the tool-making industry standard. Frankly, based upon experience, I would expect this sort of thing from the Chinese.

They're the same basic regular clamps from a hardware store. Didn't have them in stock at my local one. They work for the general basic stuff :D

Not made of quality materials

Not fancy, but will do exactly what I need very well. Have ordered again, like product, great for shop use.
