This is a life-saver. I had bad sciatica pain requiring two rounds of steroid treatment. I did my own physical therapy watching some YouTube videos and my pain got better. This combined with the pillow has made my pain virtually nonexistent. When I don’t use the pillow or forget it when I go out of town, I notice my pain coming back. It is a great pillow. You may feel it is a bit thick or uncomfortable at first but once you get use it, you can’t go without it. I initially bought a thinner wedge shaped back pillow but it proved useless. This one is the way to go!

I toss and turn all night long due to back pain - laying on my side feels OK at first, but slowly my back starts to hurt and I have to switch sides. Laying on my back doesn't work at all. So I had high hopes when I saw this product and read the reviews...but unfortunately this pillow actually made my back pain worse. It is WAY too big, so that my back isn't level at all, but pushed into an uncomfortable and unnatural position. I gave it a shot, figuring I may contour to my shape throughout the night - but it didn't, and I could barely stand when I woke in the morning. Tried again a second night just in case, and it was no better, so I gave up. Save yourself the money and use an old feather pillow squished up into the curve of your side...that is what I am doing now and it is much more effective.

A bit on the expensive side but it works. It felt kind of uncomfortable at first so one has to get accustom to it. Adjustments must also be made to the head pillow which one uses in order to get maximum comfort. People who suffer from reflux may have to make adjustments when using the support pillow.

I have had trouble sleeping for the past couple of years because I was in a car accident which has left me with chronic back pain and SI joint issues. I have to sleep in positions that I hate as a result. Anyway, I tried the pillow right after I got it yesterday and I immediately was able to nap ( never happens) . My overnight sleep was the best sleep I have had in a very long time. I fell asleep quickly and my body felt like it was in Heaven. I also stood up after my sleep and did not have the normal aches and pains associated with sleeping with a car accident damaged and unsupported back. I love this pillow.

My husband has been suffering tremendous back pain at work...I went online and did some research and saw the amazing reviews on this back support pillow--especially since its designed to help while he is laying flat on the bed at night...but can also be used in the chairs, etc. We just received our pillow and LOVE it--very comfortable and provides a lot more support than other pillows we had purchased. I'm online right now buying another one and just wanted to thank the other reviewers and add our voice to the positive experiences out there =)

This is a fantastic pillow for those of us with back issues. We pass it around in my house whenever someone's back "goes out". It offers great support and I would say actually helps in the healing process when trying to recover. It's a little pricey, but think of it as something that you OWN that costs the same as one trip to the chiropractor. Great investment!

I find this wonderful. I actually use it for a yoga sleep position that inverts my middle back to open up my lungs, rather than a lumbar support as it is shown on the picture. I find it fantastic and sleep much better since I got this.
