Mouse took me down memory lane -- LESS IS MORE
I am relieved to know that there is still a simple mouse being made. No gimmicks, no a billion buttons to push on, no weights -- NO SOFTWARE. If any of these mentioned are something you enjoy, this mouse is not for you.Remember the good old days when you would just plug in a mouse and go? Better yet, remember when you would have to remove the little ring underneath to clean the mouse, just for that ball to drop on the floor and say "where the hell did it go?" (ok, maybe the latter question was a little extreme). This mouse is extremely comfortable on my hands. I am not embarrassed to say that my hands are somewhat fat, so it can be tricky finding the right mouse. For reference, the Logitech G502 mouse that everybody raves about is just too damn skinny and uncomfortable for me. I've tried it and I've had to return it.I do mixture of gaming as well as office work - so best believe I spend hours holding the mouse for long FPS-game sessions, mixed with scrolling down websites or documents.I highly recommend this mouse. It's very simple and straight forward and COMFORTABLE -- EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE!On a side note, I came from a Corsair Ironclaw which I was using for almost a year. I may be putting that one to the side for now...

Great replacement for Razer Deathadder
A few days ago, the scroll wheel on my Razer Deathadder died. I've had the mouse for eight years, so I don't really hold that against Razer. However, I was also getting sick of Razer's terrible drivers -- they eat up resources, require a login, increase startup time, and sometimes just flat out crash. For this reason, I chose not to buy another Deathadder.I browsed mice for a few hours, and the vast majority look like a kid's running shoe turned into a mouse; all sorts of unnecessary holes, lights, etc. The EC1 is an amazing no-nonsense, high-quality mouse. Relative to my Deathadder, the tracking feels smoother, the click action is more satisfying, and the scroll wheel is more precise. The skate action also feels better. Ergonomics are relatively similar, no real adjustment required. I only have two minor gripes -- first off, I wish the Zowie logo was white (no big deal, but I don't have anything else red in my setup). Second, I used to use my Deathadder at 700 dpi. 800 is close enough, but it would be nice to have more granular DPI adjustments (I'd prefer 600 over 800). Overall, highly recommend, would buy again.

Quality Mouse for Quality Use
I've been using the EC1 for quite around 3 weeks or so, it's pretty simple in terms of its form and function being plug and play, with an adjustable DPI button on the bottom. It's comfortable, and the buttons are responsive. Some hold up though could be the mouse sometimes holding the middle mouse when you clicked it before for the toggle but it hasn't been too much of an issue. Simply put however, it doesn't pride itself over the LED's that most "Gamer" branded products do. Previously I had a Razer Deathadder Chroma which although it was an accurate mouse, the build of the grips on the sides were beginning to fall off, and seeing as how Razer regularly supplies these grips for repeat customer base really turned me off on that idea. It may be a little bit more expensive than a regular mouse starting around the $90 range but I believe it's a worthwhile investment as a mouse is most likely one of the most used items when it comes to PC usage.

amazing mouse!!!
This product is a really great mouse. The mouse feels really good in the hand. i have a large hand and this fits perfectly in my hand for a palm and claw grip. the feel of the material is good, a light weight plastic, and with great clicks in the buttons. the scroll wheel is a little old school with tough tactile bumps, wish they were a little softer but overall a really great mouse. I also appreciate the lack of RGB or LED lights, as i want to be able to use this for work as well I'm probably not doing this mouse justice but i like adjustment setting on the bottom of the mouse. Also the software in the mouse and no added software to download. Overall a very solid mouse for gaming and work.finally, the Zowie brand has a ton of variation of mice in the market. If you are not happy with one model, rest assure you will find one to your liking.
