Hacksaw Set, Steel Saw 12 inch with Replaceable Saw Blades and Metal Miter, 3PCS Handsaws (Hacksaw Frame, Mini Hacksaw, Junior Hacksaw), Metal Saw

Looks like I’m finally about to finish my remodeling in our apartment (always something to do though) and can say one thing - sometimes there is no replacement to these manual handsaws. I have a lot of tools and usually prefer to use my electric saw. But there are cases than the handheld saw is a must have. And I realized that on my personal experience. Now I kind of regret I didn’t buy this set before which could make my remodeling definitely easier, so many times I was in situations where my reciprocating saw was basically useless. Well, at least now I’m prepared for my next projects. This set arrived pretty quickly. Upon opening the box found 3 different sizes inside, couple of spare blades and small aluminum miter. The miter can be useful for some hobby woodwork, but for what I do is basically useless. As I bought this set to cut some metal parts I was kind of nicely surprised to find a woodworking blade in a package (didn’t pay much attention to a listing description when buying lol). The string blade is also included which is another great addition to the set. Replacing blades on all three tools is a charm - very simple and quick. I made 3 pictures holding each saw for scaling purposes so you can check it out later if the size works for you (keep in mind I have quite large hands lol). The large one is made of metal, the medium one is also metallic but has a plastic handle, and the smallest one is of whole pretty decent quality plastic. All the blades are a standard size and I will be able to buy either brand I prefer in the future which is another huge plus. Some reviewers complain here they can’t install a blade into the small one and it is defective. That’s what I initially thought. It is not defective, after paying attention to the listing pictures I found the right way how to install it correctly. So overall it is a very nice DIY set of saws, I don’t think it will work for professional contractors using it thousand times a day but for my household use and DIY projects all three of them are a must have addition to my tools collection especially for such an unbeatable price. By the way I performed a test and it worked great for me. Hope someone will find my review helpful.

this is an inexpensive hacksaw kit with 3 sizes of saws, 6 blades, and an aluminum mitre box. everything is decent enough to cut through metal as long as it is not too thick in density. the two larger saws have metal frames while the smallest hand hacksaw is plastic.the mitre box is very small, and the picture is just about accurate to its proportion in relation to the other items in this kit, such as the saws and blades. the mitre box is approximately 5.25 x 1.875 x 1.25 inches, but is good enough for use in cutting small pieces of wood, aluminum window screen frames, and the such. there are two holes at the bottom of the mitre box's trough. screw threw these holes into a larger piece of wood or workbench to help keep the mitre box stable while in use.if you don't need anything to be durable over several dozen uses, go for it. for the price, the value is decent. it is a decent for crafts and light duty. if you're into tools, I'd skip this over and spend a bit more elsewhere.

Bought this for cutting during deer season. Has several different attachments with various blades. Large Hacksaw seems very sturdy. This was a very versatile set and a great price. I am happy with purchase.
