Not colouring at all

I tried using this at first with wet hair but it didn't change the colour. The next time I tried it (mixed with a brown henna) I tried it on unwashed hair. It is virtually impossible to do on your own. It smells, mixed with hot water a bit like ancient dung according to my boyfriend who had the thankless task of painting it on my hair (very fine and very long) within 15 mins with my haranguing him to hurry up. Make sure you add enough water to make the mixture fairly runny or it can dry and thicken up and be even harder to apply. The effect is lovely, particularly in sunlight. Henna doesn't damage the cortex of your hair, in fact it conditions it. One word of warning however it takes a long, long time to wash out and four washes in, the water of my rinse is still yellow.

Zum erstenmal habe ich nach jahrelangem Chemiefärben zu einer Pflanzenhaarfarbe gegriffen. Vorher hatte ich mich gut im Internet informiert und bei Öko-Test 2017 (Alternative Haarfarben) über ein sehr gutes Testergebnis bei Radico Organic gelesen.Viele andere Pflanzenhaarfarben wurden dort mit ungenügend oder mangelhaft bewertet. Das Ergebnis nach 3,5 Std. Einwirkzeit war überraschend gut, die Haare fühlten sich gepflegt und kräftig an, meine dunkle Haarfarbe vertiefte sich noch intensiver. Allerdings, die grauen nachgewachsenen Haare nahmen nur einen hellbraun-kupferfarbenen Farbton an (deshalb 1 Punkt Abzug) und da werde ich nochmals nachfärben müssen. Darauf war ich jedoch nach meinen Recherchen gefaßt, da diese Pflanzenfarben nicht in den Haarschaft eindringen, sondern sich nur andocken. Man kann halt nicht alles haben, ein 100%iges Färbeergebnis oder gesünderes Haar. Ich werde erstmal bei Radico bleiben, gefällt mir alles in allem sehr gut.
