Yes, Cummins uses this filter ( 1989 - 2017, 5.9L & 6.7L ) this filter can be used on ALL Cummins Turbo Diesel Engines.

Q: This is a very efficient filter, but will it hold the extra dirt that it catches long enough to last for a 15,000 m oil change?

I would not recommend going over the manufacture suggested interval for any diesel. Especially if it’s a newer generation diesel that has DEF. General rule of thumb is 3000m for conventional and 7500m for synthetic oil. Your engine oil in a diesel captures soot. The longer you go the more soot it collects acting like a grinding paste in theory. Oil changes are not something to cheap out on for an engine that has potential to last several hundred thousand miles.
