Belle présentation marque renommée mais a déconseiller la reserve de marche de 48 heures n'est pas au rendez-vous ,en réalité elle n'en possède pratiquement aucune aussitot quittée du poignet.

I bought this for "grammy" (my mother) for Christmas. She has ONE good Bulova watch she's had since high school (60+ years ago, good watch) and a whole slug of cheap watches that use batteries. I got tired of ordering and replacing batteries all the time so I figured an automatic would be a good choice. She really likes the watch. After taking it out of the packaging, setting time, day and date, she wore it the rest of the day. She took it off at bedtime and put it on the next morning. Still running, still keeping time. It didn't run down overnight. The bracelet band is plenty long so I had to take 3 links out for her. Taking out links is very easy on this band, there's a little arrow that tells which way to push the link retaining hook. This band uses a "U" shaped hook instead of split pins or screws. Take the clasp spring-bar out and set it aside, so the band will lay flat. Place the band on a surface that won't scratch it (I used my desk blotter)and use a nail or VERY small screwdriver to push/pry the link retainer out. You have to take TWO of them out to remove ONE link and start with the links furthest from the clasp. There's a little fiddling/fussing to get the link to let go of it's neighbor but it's not hard, the first one I did let go all by itself, the second and third took a little jiggering around to get them separated. Don't use force, when you get it right they'll just fall apart. The watch looks very nice, has good illumination on the hands, the dial is easy to read. I got this for her for a "daily wear" watch and told her not to worry about beating it up or scratching it and just wear it. Now if I can just convince her to toss all those $10 battery powered watches ... She's very happy with it so far. I've never been disappointed with a Seiko. My tastes run more towards Citizen Eco-Drives and Orient (a wholly owned subsidiary of Seiko) automatics but I've worn Seiko watches for many years. I hate changing and/or running out of batteries so I've switched away from battery powered quartz watches completely. It's been my experience that no matter how careful you are, or the jeweler is if you take it to a jeweler, repeatedly opening the case to change the battery will break the seal "O"-ring eventually and I've had jewelers do that and not tell me that my watch is no longer waterproof. (Yes, I know Eco-Drives run on a battery but it's charged by light and you don't have to open the case to replace it every so many years.) The watch looks very nice, seems to run well and operate correctly, and I can find no fault in it as of this writing. If that changes I'll come back and amend this review.

Schade eigentlich.

Super cute! I am 40 years old and I bought a classic watch but with a twist. I usually wear lots of black clothes and seems to me to be stylish when dressed classic and rocker when used more informally. It is about 3 mm smaller than you think, that makes that reading is not as good as I thought. In fact, I can't read the date... but I'm happy with my new watch. Super lindo!!
