Perfect brush for my long haired dachshund.
The media could not be loaded. My groomer told me about this brush. I must say I’m pleased. My long hair dachshund doesn’t mind at all I easily brush her daily. I research the proper size and bristle for small long hair. The bristles are soft. You will need a bigger brush for like a German shepherd or a Labrador. Gets the hair that’s close to skin. Best brush so far for her. Easy to use. This one for small dogs works well. Not much hair in brush because I brush her daily

Shih tzu approved!
The first show tech brush we got for our shih tzu was given to us by our groomer when he was about a year old. He’s now 7. We have used these brushes ever since. We brush the whole dog in the morning, and the face and tail again in the evening. So the brush definitely gets used. It is soft enough to make the brushing comfortable yet very effective at getting into the hair and catch any tangle. Easy to clean. Long lasting and well priced.

Pretty good
Works well and was a decent price. Works well for grooming. It glides ok, tangles a little on my longer haired dog. Fairly gentle, for metal bristles.

Professional groomer gives it a “yes”
Professional groomer and show poodle owner-I like these due to their length for longer poodle coats, and their softer bristles that don’t scratch the skin. (To test any slicker you should “brush” your skin and see if it breaks skin) if it does, do not use it on your dogs or clients. For the price they are a great everyday brush for the salon and longer poodle and doodle coats

The best for goldendoodle grooming!
My mini goldendoodle has two coats - hair on the outside and a thick wooly coat underneath. Keeps her warm but a challenge to groom.I had tried several brushes but they weren't effective at reaching the undercoat. My daughter, who has a mgd pup, told me about this slicker brush.Believe what you read in the description. The bristles are long, curved, and flexible. Aspen may look like a fluff ball but she is warm and tangle free. And she enjoys being groomed.

Ok
The brush is ok. I got it because everyone was saying it was comparable to the cc coral, it is not. The bristles are weak and they do not brush out matts very well. As a daily maintenance brush for a person with a longer coated dog this would be perfect. But it is not a great brush for a groomer.

my poor dog!
cliff notes: buy this to get the floof before your vacuum does, from a thick haired mutt (shepherd/husky/lab mix that we know of)up to this point i've been using the safari slicker - and my pup tolerated it for a little bit but with all the other brushes i struggle with his floof - they never seem to get all the undercoat or shedded fur & he seems irritated by the bristles. i got this to try instead of the $70 popular brand and OH MY GOSH does it get hair! it's gentle bristles feel fine on my skin & my dog relaxed and rolled over while i was brushing him. 8 times i emptied it of heavy floof/undercoat in the first brushing - he was so happy! even his chonky neck floof was easy to brush. it was easy to empty too. the old brushes don't get the undercoat like this one - i definitely recommend this for any dog owner!!
