Use with common sense 👍🏼
For what is worth, it IS a good soap. It worked on my face especially because I have a mild rosacea with flaking and dryness. I figured since it has oatmeal (or little pieces of it) common sense would be if rubbing it across my face would feel like I am rubbing sandpaper on it. I did had that feeling in the beggining when I started using it, BUT I figured instead lather it up in my hands and just putting the foam on my face and it seemed to help with the roughness of the soap. Another point is that I used it for at least 2 weeks and the redness and bumps diminished quite significantly. Of course with the routine i.e. wash with soap (can rotate with other soaps, I used dove sensitive) add moisturizer, 2x a week with a matcha mask + if a medication (cream or lotion is used) and the symptoms were less. I do recommend the soap but it has to be with common sense, if the skin is irritated but still want to use it lather it up onto hands and use the foam to wash. I have to say the slimyness is because of the oatmeal so that did not bother as much only if you wet it alot of course it will get slimy. Other than that it is an ok soap to treat postular rosecea

Great for my PD
I agree with a lot of the other reviews that this has helped immensely with my perioral dermatitis. I’ve struggled with PD for nearly 10 years. And since moving to CA, it’s gotten worse. Not sure why. I’ve tried everything under the sun: changing my diet, using nothing on my face, using recommended products on my face — none of it worked. I *think* my PD is hormone and alcohol related, but who’s to say? Anyway, I noticed that my PD really started to turn a corner once I began using this soap. I typically use it once in the morning and once at night before bed. I leave it on for 1-2 minutes, depending on how my skin is feeling that day (1, if my skin feels happier, and 2 if my skin feels like it wants to break out). My PD is located mainly on my chin, above my upper lip, and a bit around my nose. I only apply the soap to these areas — not to my entire face. That might work well for others, but I only apply it to the area affected by PD. I quickly run the bar under water for a second, turn the water off, “lather a bit” onto my fingers (the bar has a rougher texture and doesn’t feel great when rubbed directly onto my way, and using my fingers is easy and gentle), apply it to my chin/nose area, and let it set. Then I thoroughly rinse it off, and after that, I wash the rest of my face with a washcloth and water. I think this soap can be a bit drying when used alone, so I pair it with La Roche-Posay’s Cicaplast Baume B5 and a little bit of The Ordinary’s Squalane (which were other PD recs I’ve found), and that’s worked nicel. In short, 1) [zinc soap] clean/clear the PD area, 2) [cream and squalane] moisturize the area without clogging my pores. As a side note, the bar is smaller, BUT I use so little each time that the bar will likely last another year. Like I said, I use it twice daily and have barely made a dent in it (just make sure to set it on a soap dish that lets it breath and dry out... instead of keeping it in the shower in a puddle/moisture. Mine hasn’t gotten soggy at all). Hope it helps you too!

Cleared My Skin Up! Coconut Oil-Free.
I looked long and hard, and searched far and wide for a soap that doesn't included coconut oil or shea butter (both too heavy for my skin), and found a gold mine with Noble. It's argan oil-based, which is much gentler on my skin. It has done a great job clearing up blemishes and hyperpigmentation. The soap can be very drying though--so after washing my face, I typically use witch hazel as a toner, then rosehip oil, or vitamin e oil mixed with tea tree oil, to moisturize.

Residue, flaking
It seems to help a bit with small bumps around my hairline and on my forehead (which is oiler than the rest of my face). However, in other areas of skin, it sometimes causes flaking and mild irritation. Perhaps it's only good for oilier parts of my skin? Regardless, it always leaves a horrible waxy feeling residue on my skin that I can't stand. I always need to follow use of this with a gentle liquid facial soap on a washcloth to remove the residue. Honestly, it hasn't made enough of a difference for me to justify repurchasing it, especially considering these issues. You might be better off spending your money on different skincare products, but everyone's different!

Absolutely magical facial soap for cystic acne
This is the best facial soap I have ever used and I wish I discovered it years earlier. The texture can get a little weird, and you have to set it on something where it can DRY between uses. But it's completely worth it. This totally cured my cystic acne. I switched to another zinc soap (with consistent lather and stronger scent) for a few weeks, and my skin broke out again. So now I'm back to this one. This stuff is a godsend.
