This is a good starter kit.PROS: Came with multiple embroidery needles and they worked well. This was a great value. 2 clothes came with it, which is great for a beginner like me.CONS:The embroidery hoop however is poor. It was hard to tighten up with the screw thing even though I was turning it. so the fabric kept moving.Overall this product gets a 4 because of the poor hoop. But if you take your time and retighten the cloth as you go along this is a good beginner kit. I would recommend but buy another hoop.

It's a pretty good kit for the price I haven't used it just yet. I do want to point out that the monks cloth is small about 9- 9 1/2 inches in size, from the pictures I did think I would receive alot more. The bamboo hoop is a bit ragged mine has a slight crack in it but I did order a plastic variety set.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. She has tried to use it a few times but gets disgusted. The needles are massive! They poke huge holes in the material and the yarn just comes right back out. She has not enjoyed it in the slightest and is constantly getting flustered by it. I would not purchase this again.
