Does the sony icd-ux570 digital voice recorder w/built-in usb have an input for a 1990s marantz cassette recorder? i need to convert old tapes to mp3

It does have an input for an external microphone or just try the built in microphone. These are usually quite good quality. Could you play the Marantz unit and record that output? You should be able to clean up/enhance that audio once you have it on your computer.

Once a file is transferred to the pc, how do I transcribe it with Dragon systems

I've never used Dragon (don't like it, to be honest). I use TEMI, which is an online serve (rather reasonably priced, I might add). I'm a journalist, so I do a lot of transcribing and I only wish I had known about TEMI a lot sooner than I did!
