This oil is really lightweight and sinks into the skin fast without leaving a greasy layer. It works great after a shower as a full body moisturizer, and it mixes easily with lotion or essential oils if you like making your own blends. On my face it feels soft and not heavy, more like a light hydrating layer than a thick oil. Also tried it on the ends of my hair, and it gives a soft shine without looking oily. The big bottle lasts a long time, especially since you only need a small amount. Nice, simple oil for skin and hair if you want something that feels clean and not perfumed.

the bottle is large and you only need a little bit of product to go a long way. my hair is recently died and a little brittle but this has helped return my shine + nice on my skin that also gets dry in the winter. fairly oily but not greasy, just be careful how much you use. the cap is effective at not shooting product as well. the scent is subtle but clearly there and very nice :) will be buying again

I bought this to add to my arsenal of natural oils that I use for my hair & skin. The conditioners you buy in stores have a minimal amount of the actual ingredient that will help moisturize your hair! For a fraction of what you pay for those high-end brand name " deep conditioners " , You can make your own. It's so easy!! I use OLIVE OIL, GRAPE SEED OIL, AVOCADO OIL, MACADAMIA NUT OIL, COCONUT OIL( a must!!) & this APRICOT KERNEL OIL. You can add a teaspoon of ALL of these to get the MAX benefit or use 1-2 of your faves. Your hair will feel & look AMAZING!! No store bought product comes close !! Your hair will SOAK up the moisture & nutrients from the oils it needs & just RINSE ! Easy hah? Now for a good PROTEIN treatment : Add 1 egg too your oil mixture , mix it in well. It will get stiff on your hair( it's suppose to!) just like those $expensive "protein pacs"! After about an hour, rinse well in COOL TO WARM WATER, if you use HOT it will cook the egg & it's harder to rinse out!! But cool water & it's rinses right out- BUT, unlike those protein pacs where you need to buy or use a separate MOISTURIZER , the OILS TAKE CARE OF THAT IN 1step!! If you just want the oil treatments- put some or all of the oils in your hair, saturate it good, I leave it over night but you can wash it out in an hour. You just rinse in warm water, but if you find your hair is still a bit oily, shampoo after the treatment- your hair has soaked up what it needs already. Air dry, blow dry, I put a small amount on my ends as a leave in ( any of them work well, olive oil is great!) . After you style your hair you will be amazed at how soft & shiny it is!! These oils are NOT expensive & they come in BIG bottles to last awhile! Well worth it! The oils are also great to put on your skin after a shower! Coconut, apricot, fab moisturizers! & this one is a good one for your face ! No clogged pores!! I use the olive oil to remove waterproof eye makeup, it wonderful & good for your eyelashes too!! Get NATURAL, or FOOD GRADE oil!! Some are in the grocery dept here. They are better & cheaper than oils with xtra "junk" in them! No alcohol, No silicones, no fillers, just pure oils! *IF YOU WOULDN'T PUT IT IN YOUR BODY, THEN DON'T PUT IN ON YOUR BODY!! :) Happy conditioning!!! Jenn~

I love this oil for hair oiling; it's my second favorite oil for this. It has a very nice, gentle, and sweet scent, which I absolutely love because it makes the whole hair oiling process so pleasant. But that's not its only advantage. It has moisturizing properties, but above all, I feel that thanks to this oil, my hair has slowly begun to recover and is stronger! This is my second or third bottle already!

Compared with the fractured almond and fractured coconut oils I have, this is the lightest. I used this only on my body. It takes away ashiness right away and I can get dressed immediately without it rubbing off on my clothes. I think I will appreciate this more in the humid warmer weather (it's dry winter now) because I like something heavier in the morning on my arms and legs to take away that itchy dryness. I can see how the lightness allows other users to put it on their faces, but I have not tried. Also, it is unscented and works well with my essential oils to create a pleasant skin moisturizer.

Great Oil. For my skin and hair, I'm making the change from Coconut Oil to NOW's Apricot. There's no apricot smell (which I would have loved if it did have that scent), but no biggy. I just bought a 1 ml bottle of Pink Grapefruit oil from another seller (which is Amazing for your hair and skin and smells AWESOME). I take that 1 ml of pink grapefruit oil and pour the whole thing in this bottle. I use a bottle pump that I got with fractionated coconut oil I got a long time ago (they're so handy, I couldn't see throwing it away, and I'm glad I didn't). What I've Learned: Be careful when using on your hair...it is Much thicker than coconut oil, so it can make you greasy fast. A little goes a long way It's AMAZING on hair and skin. Seriously. I've noticed my skin stays clear (I believe it's the mixture of this plus the pink grapefruit) supple and healthy looking. Since using it, I've noticed I have a healthier glow to my face :) I use this over my entire body instead of lotion and it's awesome. My skin stays moist all day long, and with the grapefruit oil, I smell so fresh and pretty. OH! and by using it in my hair, I notice that it seems to have a freshening ability. My hair keeps a nice scent for a long time (again, this could be the grapefruit oil). So, if you get this, I highly suggest trying it with grapefruit oil, they make such a lovely combination.
