So far so good for this reel, good one for those on a budget

I have two of these reels. One works great, the other had to be returned to the factory for an overhaul because the gears were slipping under pressure and it would go into freespool. Not a good feeling when you have a fish on the other end of the line.

Gears are not real smooth and the line counter is very sticky you have to push the button twice to get it to reset.

I have used this reel on a downrigger and found it extraordinarily easy to use without getting any tangle line in the process. Knowing how much line is let out I found very good. A fantastic reel!

Gears are all plastic broke on my fifth fishing trip return was not within 30 days buy st your own risk!!
