If you have power consuming electronics, this is the battery for you.
Firstly lithium rechargeable batteries are fairly pricy. So it is a serious investment over buy the standard Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. (easily double to triple the price per battery)My children have a set of Vtech KidiGear walkie talkies and these units eat batteries - standard Ni-MH rechargeable batteries would last 15-30 minutes (they were newish batteries as well). These lithium rechargeable batteries last close to the same amount of time as non-rechargeable premium batteries. It has been several months and the batteries seem to be hold charge and seem to be as hit and miss (lemons) as some of the other rechargeable batteries on Amazon

Battery Exploded
I bought four Kratax AAA batteries from KrataxDirectUK (Hong Kong address on Web Site) and dispatched by Amazon. They arrived on Friday 5th January 2024. Three of them were sitting in the plastic case they were delivered in on a bedside table late on Saturday 6th January 2024.There was a load bang and a smell filled the room. One of the batteries was now on the floor about four feet away. On closer inspection it had some black residue on one end of it. As shown in the first picture the case itself was badly damaged. It had also a lot of black residue on it as did the other battery. It was when I put the battery from the floor in the case that I realised that one battery was missing.I found the missing battery on the carpet. It had left more of the black residue next to it and had burned/corroded its way through the carpet leaving some of the outer casing in the hole it had made. As shown in the next two pictures. The final few pictures show the damage to the battery and are compared with the one that was not in the case at the time of the explosion. The round cap was found over six feet away from the exploded body. The room was well ventilated overnight however the smell still remains and has spread to several other rooms throughout the house.Usage History :-Friday 5th January 2024 - Batteries arrived - Charge Topped Up - One battery used in noise cancelling headphones and two in a Christmas decoration that ran until late in the evening.Saturday 6th January 2024 - The two batteries from the Christmas decoration were again topped up and stored with the unused battery in the case they came in. Much later that evening one of the batteries exploded however I am not sure which of the three it was.All the batteries have now been moved to a location that would not be too troubled should another one choose to explode and I will contact the UK Trading Standards to see if they consider this a safe product to be sold and used in the UK.I hope that there will be no problem with receiving a refund for the batteries and compensation for the irreparable damage caused to the carpet.I will endeavour to update this report with any progress.

No longer throwing away old batteries all the time
Very good power and charge rate, quick to charge and last more than long enough. They fit in all standard places with no issues and I have had no issues with them.

Nice Lithium batteries but rubbish charger
The batteries seem good enough with fairly high 1100 mWh rating so should last a while. Bit gimmicky flashing led's during charging but fun to watch. However, the charger is not good. Luckily I purchased two sets of batteries with chargers because one of the chargers that came has a faulty slot and will not charge. The red/green slot led doesn't light up where the other three do, the battery flashes for a few seconds and stops charging. Swap it to another slot and it charges fine. Bit disappointed but I do have another charger from Kratax so all is not lost. Can't recommend for this reason.

Brilliant when they work !!
They give a good output when charged - 1.57 v as measured by a battery tester. However, their quality control process is bad - about 1/4 of them are not recharging after two charges (maximum). Very few rechargeables have a 1.5 V output, so I would use them when this is essential. However, I would try another brand to see if they have more reliability.

Great rechargeable batteries
These batteries are a step up from conventional rechargeables. Once recharged, using a special USB powered device, they hold their rated 1.5 volts until they become fully discharged after supplying an amazing 1100 milliamp-hour! Excellent AAA batteries for almost any application.
