Metal Expandable/Adjustable Shower Curtain Tension Rod 4 Feet To 7 Feet - Colour: White

It's actually really sturdy for a rod of this type. I bought one by Story@Home and it was much lighter and flimsier - even though it was the same price basically. Easy to install, have put on a slightly heavy curtain and it holds up no problem. Only thing is if you pull on it then it will shake a bit - but that's true for any of these tension rods. Also would've liked other colours - the white is fine and doesn't disturb but other colours would be nice.

Length and build quality is really good. Very sturdy and easy to install. I have gone for this product as I do not want to drill holes in my recentlly renovated bathroom. I felt price could have been bit low. Overall verdict, go for it.

Review writing after 1 month usage during winters , Its sturdy , using it as washroom glass protector , my bath glass used to be always water stained , so i put up this rod and amazon basics curtain , the glass is always clean now , and the rod is superb . No removal of rod even in high steam baths during winters

This is not a tension rod, it's a twist rod. There is no spring inside, just a screw-shaped plastic bit which tightens when twisting. However, it's tricky to get it to tighten at the length needed, it seems like you have to hold it just right to get it to tighten where needed. If that wasn't bad enough, because there's no spring, you can only get it to be exactly the width needed. Normal spring tension rods let you get the length a little longer than needed so you can squeeze it into the space, and this causes great tension and makes the rod stay in place. This model only has a twist option and is poorly designed. It's getting returned because it is unusable.

If you want to hang curtains but don't have curtain rods installed or just want to add a shower curtain and again living in a rented space and can not go for permanent rods then this is the best option. I really liked its appearance and flexibility. Its worth it, easy to install also.
