Is this wax compatible with hempwick?

Sorry, but I am not familiar with the use of the hemp wick in candle making. It is. It a wick that we have used.

Is it good for pillar candles ?

I do not use this wax anymore but i would think you would need a firmer wax blend for pillars. You can use this for containers.
