I've been trying to track my fitness progress and using a regular measuring tape was always such a hassle - trying to hold both ends, keep it level, and read the measurement at the same time. This automatic tape measure has made the whole process so much easier. The 80 inch length is perfect for any body measurement you'd need. Goes around my waist, chest, hips, thighs, whatever with plenty of room to spare. Never have to worry about it being too short like some of those tiny sewing tapes. The automatic retraction is really smooth and controlled - not like those metal tape measures that snap back and try to take your finger off. Just a gentle pull back into the case when you press the button. The tape itself is flexible but doesn't stretch, so you get consistent measurements every time. The markings are clear and easy to read, both inches and centimeters which is handy. Being able to take measurements by myself is huge. No more trying to get someone else to help or doing weird contortions in front of the mirror. Just wrap it around, press the button to lock it in place, and read the number. The case is compact and fits easily in my gym bag or bathroom drawer. Way more portable than those big measuring tapes that take up tons of space. Build quality seems good - I've been using it regularly for months and the mechanism still works smoothly. No binding or sticking like I was worried about. Only complaint is that sometimes it can be tricky to get it started around larger measurements - the tape wants to curl up on itself. Takes a little practice to get the technique down. For anyone tracking body measurements for fitness or health reasons, this makes the process way less annoying. Definitely worth the upgrade from regular measuring tapes.

Great and easy way to measure yourself. It says on the item that a couple inches is measured on the plastic part itself so you can insert the end in the hole when measuring the circumference of something

Worked as intended but very loud

This is so handy! It is well-made and an innovative way to allow for self measurements that are accurate. I bought this and the regular Perfect Measuring Tape Co. All Purpose 60 Inch Double Sided Tape. Both are great. I'm trying to upgrade my wardrobe, to wearing more [full] suits or "odd" suits (suit separates). This helps me know what to look for. Even more if and when I can upgrade to bespoke. Though I think it gave me the wrong waist measurements. I'm not that big. Maybe I need to try again!😏 Above all, was actually their great customer service! As I was looking for a good tailor's measuring tape, I came across their website and asked for advice. I received a quick reply which led me here. Thank you!

Product is OK. But first look is not good. Regular plastic material,fixing average. Sturdiness like other normal plastic item. Fulfilling the need but seems much overcharged for the quality provided.
