This is my go to green tea for cold brewing overnight. 10g of this tea with around 40oz of water makes a delicious tea.

I've been looking for a good sencha for a while now. This tea has a smooth and delicate flavor, perfect for my morning ritual.

I've been trying various Sencha brands lately in search of a satisfying organic Sencha at a reasonable price. I'm happy to report that I found it today with my first delivery of SENBIRD TEA's Organic Sencha Green Tea. I opened it immediately and brewed it following package directions at 75C for 1.5 minutes using spring water in a gaiwan. I could tell right away by both appearance and aroma that this was not just another mediocre Japanese tea in a fancy package. It was like experiencing the essence of a fine ceremonial matcha - excellent balance between umami fragrance, sweet fresh undercurrents of marigold, and a powerful centering energy experience. A completely unexpected level of quality for the price. Highly recommended!

Packaged well, appropriately green, light color tea when brewed, no strong aroma or taste. I drink it for health and enjoyment. Higher end tea. I would buy it again.

I was disappointed by the quality of the loose leaf tea, lots of crumbled leaves, almost powder. So small that even my fine strainer would not catch it all.Thankfully the flavor is good. I won’t buy it again, will look for larger filler leaves.
