I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old nephew. I almost got the smaller one that was recommended for his age, but many of those reviews said it was really small. I was scared he wouldn't be able to play on it long. I am glad i went with this size, it was a good size for him. His legs are just barely too short to reach the floor, so my brother has to hold him on it or he can lay on his belly and bounce. But he will be able to reach the floor in no time and will be able to play with this for a long time as he grows. It is great quality and durable. Very easy to inflate and put the cover on.

I'm so glad I read the reviews before purchasing. My daughter just turned 4 and this one was just the right size for her. I can't imagine the littler one that is actually meant for toddler/preschool age would have worked. We got her a traditional bouncy ball (Disney brand) for Christmas and it was much too small for her. This one is great. My son is nearly 11 and because, of course, he had to try it out, we learned it is really too small for him. Our daughter is a bit clumsy on this right now, but loves it so much, she keeps getting back on. She LOVES horses! The cover slips on easily and is super soft. It comes with an easy-to-use pump and extra plugs. The legs touch the ground more than the image indicates, so I doubt we will let her take it outside. I think it is well worth the $25 we paid and bought another for our niece for her 4th birthday, too. I should get us all one so we can have races! UPDATE: Just bought another one for my nephew. These things can take a licking and are well loved by everyone!

My daughter is 6 and loves this hopper I am glad I didn't go for the smaller sized one this is just the right size for her. its well made and comes with a small plastic hand pump but it takes ALOT of pumping with that thing to get the hopper to fill all the way up properly so if you think you may have trouble with the pump I would try to get somebody else to help you with it as it can become pretty tiresome and if you stop pumping the air will leak out until you put the plug into it.

We got the horse for our son (age 5) for Christmas and he totally loves it! He has been enjoying a daily ride on his pony ever since. He named it Wild Fire and she is now a beloved member of the family. She is so cute and funny with her derpy horsy face and her spindly legs that flop around in such a way that make it look as if she is actually galloping as they go bouncing around the room. I love it so much I am truly tempted to get one of the adult sized horses for myself! Great bounce, durable, and an excellent way to help a busy child burn off energy.

We bought a few of these as gifts and they were hit!
