I got tired of drinking bottled spring water which I doubted the source! So, I invested in one of these filters knowing that it has been filtered in my very own home. The water comes out fresh, crisp and clean! I did the 6-month filter change and let me tell you the number of substances that are filtered is amazing! In the first picture you can see the new filter compared to the old filter. I poured the water into the cup to get a better look at it. By the time the water goes through the remaining 4 stages and reaches the tap, the water is crystal clear and fresh. I highly recommend it if you are looking to improve your water quality and remove harmful contaminants.

I installed the FS-TFC 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis System under my kitchen sink, and the results have been outstanding. The water tastes noticeably better — no chlorine smell, no metallic aftertaste — just clean, refreshing water perfect for drinking, cooking, and even brewing coffee. Setup was surprisingly simple. The instructions were clear, and I didn’t need professional help. The compact design fits easily under the sink, and the 100GPD fast flow rate means I never run out of filtered water. I also appreciate the extra set of filters included — a thoughtful touch that saves money down the line. The system removes up to 99% of contaminants, including fluoride, lead, arsenic, and heavy metals. The wastewater ratio is about 3:1, which is standard for RO systems, and the filters last 6–12 months depending on usage. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable reverse osmosis system that doesn’t take up much space and delivers excellent water quality, this one’s a winner.

We purchased this unit, wondering if it was going to give us better water. We have a well and a water softener and my wife didn't love the taste of the water and I didn't like to use the water softener for working with plants. Our configuration was to just run the RO to the refrigerator so we didn't use the faucet. The start of this story was not super, but after the outstanding customer support I was able to install and had great tasting water. It did the job we were looking for it to do. 5 start rating for unit and customer service. More details: What I loved about this unit is that it had literally everything I needed to put it in. I have to say, this is the first time I've used the quick connect and it was intimidating and worrisome. But after using it and learning that you just have to push the outside ring inwards to get the pipe out and the little blue c rings keep that ring out, thus not allowing the plastic pipe to come out unwanted, I was relived. And they are so easy to work with, it is almost embarrasingly easy! The seller ships the unit with a pretty much plug and play manner, but also includes extras like water line, multiple quick connect adapters, the valve you can use and the sink faucet. Even Teflon tape. As with most instructions, reading them made the installation easier. Even the diagram on the instructions to take off the pipe would have saved me watching youtube videos on the topic. To install, you basically have to connect 4 lines to/from the unit. IN, OUT, DRAIN and TANK. I installed it in phases by connecting a 1/4" plastic pipe to the quick connect, into a 1gal water container. * starting at the line going into the pressure regulator - making sure water was coming from the line * out of the regulator * out of the unit * final configuration before connecting it to my refrigerator Bottom line is this worked great and I am very pleased. One thing to remember with the RO systems. The water goes through a bunch of filtration and then goes through a membrane, and the pressure is controlled by a pressure valve. Therefore, if you run the water directly through the RO, the water doesn't run fast. it took about 7 minutes to fill 12 cups of water when I first connected it up. About 30 minutes later, the 12 cups took less than a minute....more... Once the system is in its final state and if you leave it be for 15 minutes or so, the water comes out of the faucet (in my case refrigerator) like you'd expect. This is caused by that water tank that comes with the unit.

I’m not often this impressed, but I gotta say I AM with this under-sink RO system! I bought a house in the country thats on well water, and while the water tested great, its hard water with a lot of calcium in it. The calcium deposits leave behind a a grainy/crystalized powder that ruined a Kurg coffee maker and an Ice Maker and we also discovered that my wife has a sensitivity to the heavy calcium and it has caused some health issues for her. I priced out a whole home system, but thats out of my budget. I discovered these under-sink systems that I can install myself and were WAY more affordable. I chose this system because it was the most compact 5 stage RO system I could find. This kitchen hasen’t been remodeled since the early 90’s and i have limited space under the sink. Installation was EASY, took less then 2 hours, and the kit contained everything needed (except for a few basic hand tools; drill, crescent wrench, and a few wood screws). After turning the water back on and checking for leaks (none) it took about 2 hours for the system to fully fill up (my well is set to 45/80 psi), then a quick system flush…. And now we have beautiful, clean, healthy RO water, and it tastes Great! Good for my appliances and healthier for my wife. Home Run! All from a kit for under $150.00 AND it came with a set of replacement filters to!
