This light is painfully bright at its highest setting and yet battery life seems eternal. I put it on the mid-level light setting and used it for 6 hours continuously while detailing the interior of my car and when I was done it showed the battery was still at 25%. I'm guessing that at the lowest light setting it can go twice that.I wish it had a standard USB-C charging interface instead of the annoying custom "magnetic" connector that constantly falls off if you even breathe on it!I had a previous LED lenser headband at this price point and it lasted 8 years before the battery died so I believe this is built to last.Overall, this is worth every penny. I was showing it to my sister-in-law and the next time I was at their house I saw she had one for taking her dogs on walks out in the country. Great product.

Bright and average battery life before chargeing

Ironically this is the best headlight brand in the business but also has the worst customer service in the business since they split from Leatherman seven or eight years ago. I have severe spinal injuries and breaking up a dog fight attacking triplets who were 10 years old 2 years ago and I need a good reliable headlamp. I purchased the H19R from Amazon and I thought I could charge a second battery by itself but they're wonderful pictorial mosaic of a user's manual doesn't address it. So I placed the order on Sunday for one extra battery and two charging magnetic cables. When I realized that that was a mistake by reading Reddit and actually using my brain I immediately 5 minutes later left them voicemail emailed them and tried faxing them but their fax number doesn't work. They told me the next day yesterday that it was already shipped which is a provable lie because UPS showed that the item was still in the vendor possession not theirs. They went ahead and shipped it anyway knowing that I'm going to dispute it with Capital One and Amazon. This is not a new occurrence and if you look at Reddit you will see 98% of the people say the same thing It is a fantastic lighting company but the customer service is worse and worse every year. So I would go to Fenix lighting I have a couple of their products and they have been extremely supportive by customer service working with me knowing I have a spine injury and setting a 1 hour time. If I need to discuss a function I can't figure out. Ledlenser I guess it's just an end for the money or in my opinion a set of monkeys managing clowns. It's really pathetic. I had an XEO19R and a backup and those were the best lights I have ever seen in my life. It really is too bad about the customer support. They have to know that that's bleeding sales to their competitors on a daily basis and I guess maybe trying to take a loss and get a tax break. Anyway this item itself is fantastic I wish they had a user's guide rather than a mosaic pictorial manual that is useless. I have never seen a pencil that doesn't have some kind of menu lol. Overall that my biggest impression I've only had it for a day is it the battery is much much smaller than the XEO 19 R so I wouldn't feel need to put it on my side but they do include a cable for that. If I were on the fence I would take a look at Fenix lighting and they have an analog to the H19R that has gotten some pretty fantastic reviews.

The two lenses for spot and flood can be made super bright. Lights up everything. This may be too heavy for ultralight backpacking; the battery pack is substantial.

The media could not be loaded. I go on record saying that i own many Fenix, Coast, and other headlamps. I use them all the time every day for work and for my hobbies.I am not sure how to feel about the presentation, all of the accessory parts are made from cheap plastic.In my humble opinion some of the tech features on this thing are overkill and not even needed.The headlamp itself is thought out and well built but it could have been executed better. For the price tag I expected more.After using it for a few days I will say that it has a lot of power and light output capability.I am not a fan of operation - the buttons on the headlamp are hard to feel and not tactile so I often find myself having to take it off to mess with it to get it to shut off. Kind of a pain honestly. If you were in a situation where you needed this thing to shut off or your killed / in trouble - your gonna die or get caught because it is very difficult to turn off.Also, the front led lights do not swivel down very far so I find myself having to tilt my head down further to get the light output on my target - also a very annoying issue.The battery indicator will read healthy charge until it is almost dead and then you will see the lights drop - i don't feel it is a very accurate reading on the battery life.I feel like this item is very close to contending at the top of the headlamp niche but unfortunately i personally would not recommend it.

This lamp is the greatest. I run outside in a rural area and sometimes I’m on a highway or busy street. This lamp is brighter than car headlights and they WILL see you. It makes running through the winter a lot easier. Make sure to wipe off the charging contacts completely and don’t leave it charging for days on end or they will corrode.

This headlamp really is the best of the best. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Super fast shipping and a remarkable product.
