Q: is the latex 100% pure or is it mixed with foaming/blowing agents?

The fill consists of 85% Natural Talalay Latex and 15% of micro denier poly silk fiber.

Q: Latex or memory foam? Features say latex, product description says memory foam??

We appreciate your interest in our pillows! There is no memory foam in our pillows they are all natural Latex.

Q: The pillow i received smells really bad. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the smell?

They have an odor when you first unbox it. I left it outside on our deck for an evening and it dissipated. I asked the company about it. Here is their response: The natural latex in our pillows comes from sap of the Hevea brasiliensis tree (Rubbertree), so it will have a natural rubber smell that will dissipate over time. Some people won't notice the smell at all and it will be very noticeable to others, it just depends on the person. There are no petrochemicals or other harmful ingredients like you find with memory foam or Certipur foams. We cut the latex and make the pillows the same day they are shipped so everything is fresh and then hermetically sealed to keep it clean and pure until it arrives to our customer. Due to the fact that we seal it the day we make it the smell will be stronger when it's initially removed from the package and will dissipate after a couple of days.

Q: Is the poly silk fiber run a bit warm and not breathable ?

Good Afternoon, Our pillow fill contains ~85% Talalay Latex & ~15% Micro Denier - Poly Silk. The poly silk does run slightly warmer than strictly latex, however the fill is mixed together thoroughly to combine both materials. Through trial and error, we have determined this is the ideal ratio for maximum support, comfort, and natural cooling while maintaining breathability.
