IF YOU BUY A PRODUCT WITH A 2 YEAR WARRANTY AND THE 3- PROTECTION PLAN YOU WILL GET 12 MO. OF PROTECTION FROM YOUR 24TH-36TH MO. THE MFG WARRANTY WILL HAVE TO BE USED FOR ANY CLAIM DURING THE FIRST 24 MO. YOU HAVE THE PRODUCT. SO DON'T CLAIM THESE GUYS ARE GIVING YOU THE RUN AROUND WHEN THEY DIRECT YOU TO THE MFG. DURING THE 1ST 24 MO. BUYER AWARE NOT BUYER BEWARE. HAD NO PROBLEM GETTING A FULL GIFT CARD CREDIT WHEN MY DEVICE FAILED AFTER ABOUT 30 MO.

What a freaking joke this is. Totally BS They make it so impossible to do anything Smoke filled mirrors. Don't waste your money. They will not support you. Watch the 60 mins show about them screw over undercover agents. They were busted on 17 of 17 denid claims. Too bad they mislead you

I never got a follow up email to register my product. I sure hope since they added it to the purchase of the product I was buying that coverage is all automatic. Somehow I doubt it.Now I just got to remember in 3 years when it breaks down that Im covered. I already forgot I bought this until I filled this review out. Ughh.I think this would be the kind of thing I want a twice a year email reminder on.Something like this. Hey, hows your new device doing that you bought on 9/2/14 Just wanted to remind you that your covered if ever you should need it! Damn that would be so handy.Since it would cost them money I doubt it will ever happen.

Sounds good, But very disappointing

I needed to use this to replace a device but they wouldn't cover it because it was under factory warranty that charged to repair the item. Why buy insurance now for something that won't be covered until next year when the warranty expires?
