Set it up yesterday and it has a bad leak already.It's a very cheaply made product that I highly recommend you don't buy unless you're prepared to use a patching kit.After reading the reviews for other Intex pools. I was expecting a leak. 👍🏼

The size of the pool is nice. Installing it was super easy. Once the water was filled we had leaks at both valves. We had to order additional washers. My husband is a PipeFitter and decided to use simply teflon tape and joint compound it fix the problem after we drained the water. We laughed and wished we did it before filling it with all that water. Needless to say I was upset wasting all that water. I updated my review due to this simple trick. The cover doesn't stay on. We order a new cover with the straps to keep it secure. The pump works great. Highly recommend the skimmer. At first I was upset and now I'm happy with the end result. We live in Arizona and it's great. We had several people in it. The size is perfect. I hope this helps when installing yours.

I owned one of these pools for 7 years! Best money I ever spent on entertainment for myself and grandkids!I had salt water instead of chlorine.Now tne salt did a number on metal parts of pool, but I just wrapped the top railing in metal tape every year at beginning of season. Oh and this time I will put 2 x 4 treated blocks , under each leg. This will keep them from sinking into the ground as bad.

We could have bought a Coleman $100.00 cheaper, but we had used Intex above ground pools for about 13 years and were happy with them.. Normally we would take it down at the end of the first year and carefully store it. At the end of the 2nd year we would leave it up and winterize it. At the end of the third year, we would cut the bottom out to use next year as extra protection under the next pool and throw away the rest (of course, keep the pump and any good spare parts) We had the pool up about 2 weeks this year when we noticed rust around the top of the leg connectors and 2 months into the season, one of the legs actually bent out from rust and all the connectors had severe rust at the joints!! Even the liner was not the quality we were used to. Some of the seams were trimmed very close and others hadan overlap of 1.5 inches. Intex quality definitely gone down.
