This is a really nice daily sunscreen for the body. I love that it’s a pump, so I can easily get the right amount of product without gunking up the bottle. I also love that it’s not a terrible scent. If anything it still has it’s iconic scent that makes me nostalgic for my childhood summers. I love that this sunscreen is water and sweat resistant, and holds up great when I’m outside walking the dog, gardening, or just surviving outside where I live. It’s brutal. The sunscreen is easy to apply and only slightly greasy on the palms, but it dries down pretty fast. The 12 oz bottle is a great value, too.

Great body sunscreen

I'm very pale. VERY pale; not an albino and not even blond, but pale and I burn very quickly. When I bike in warm/hot weather I wear a long-sleeve shirt designed to protect from UV, full-finger gloves, and a very wide 360° brim on my helmet so I need sunscreen on my legs from just above the knee to my ankles and on my face and neck. For a while I have been using a CVS Pharmacy-branded Nutrogena knockoff that comes in a tube. It has a scent which is pleasant and slightly fruity which I could live without but doesn't bother me. It's SPF 55, goes on nicely, feels smooth, soaks into my skin quickly, lasts a long time even when I'm sweating, and it doesn't feel "heavy" so I barely notice it when it's on and doing its job. Unfortunately, it is also relatively expensive; the actual Nutrogena product is even more expensive than the store-branded knockoff. If I were just using it on my face as I do in cooler weather when my legs are fully covered I'd keep using it, but when I have to cover my legs I go through the tube of sunscreen too fast making it very uneconomical to use during the mid-spring through mid-fall. To save some money, I decided to try this Banana Boat with SPF 50. It has no odor. It's not as smooth as the Nutrogena and doesn't spread as easily but it's not a problem in that regard, either. It takes longer to soak into my skin but again, not a big problem. It continues to do its job even during and after a heavy sweat. The one downside is that, even hours after I've put it on, my skin feels like I have lotion on it which is not a feeling I enjoy. At all. It also seems difficult to wash off in the shower, which I guess means it's really waterproof but it doesn't have a good "skin feel" and I don't like being distracted by it for hours at a time. I can deal with it on my legs, I guess, but on my face it bugs the heck out of me. I would have taken off two stars but the price per volume of this stuff is so much better that I took off only one star. For what it's worth, I like the pump bottle more than a squeeze tube. Will I buy this again after my current pump-bottle is empty? I don't know. I'm thinking that, once this bottle is done, I'll buy a tube of Nutrogena just for my face and another bottle of this Banana Boat just for my legs.

Living in the east coast of U.S., I needed to have some protection from the hot sun as my job is outdoors sometimes. It is really easy to put on and doesn't leave a whitecast. It is recommended to wait 15 minutes after applying to go outside and reapply every 2 hours. I beleive everyone should have this as it will protect your skin and prevent any skin illnesses in the future. I have the big bottles at home and keep the small bottles at work or when I travel. I recommend everyon to use the subscribe and save so you don't skip out on wearing sunscreen and save money. Must recommend to everyone!

Diese Creme ist so gut, als hättest nichts auf Haut. Ich hab schon so viele ausprobiert und die ist die einzige die echt nicht klebt. Gute sonnenschutz. Ich bin oft in die Berge ganzen Tag unterwegs, da ist mir wichtig dass die sonnenschutz nicht unangenehm wird. Seit 2 Jahren suche ich und benutze nur diese sonnenschutz Creme.
