Great little stove/heater
Not sure I would use it in a tent - but I've installed mine in a shed/workshop (10sq m) and it works really well. Supplied with a chimney just over 2m long, it accepts pieces of wood up to 300mm long and 200mm wide and to be honest it gets too hot. I've put heat protection on the adjoining wall just in case and a nitrile roof seal. The fold out legs give a sturdy stance and the chimney separates into pieces that can be stored or transported inside the stove. Folded and packed it takes up a space that is 300 x 350mm. The air flow adjuster on the front is good but takes a little practise to get the right setting, and being so small the unit is quite fussy to keep the emitted heat steady but adding a piece of wood every 10-15 minutes or so seems to work about right and saves it getting too hot too quickly. Overall for my use a great little heater and use for all my off cuts and garden sticks. Edit - being a single walled chimney system it is worth remembering that regular cleaning of the flue pipe is essential to keep it drawing and not pushing smoke back out via the door. Although a few wisps of smoke do come back when you first light it these should die back once the chimney is warm

Absolutely spot on
Absolutely brilliant little burner that throws out plenty of heat. Have it in my shed bar and it’s perfect!!

Well made & compact
Bought it for under the gazebo, also bought two 45 degree elbows & more straight tubes to direct the stack round the roof , works a treat , much better than a fire pit

Perfect for VanLife
This was bought after seeing it in another project build. The requirements for us where a smaller scale burner that still had a tray for ash and the ability to heat things on top like a kettle. This boi has wings even! Perfect smaller scale for a corner or even on a heat proof side surface, and beats the price of so many we were looking at. Ideally you want to add some heat proof rope to the door for a better sealz but that's £10.. an easy add.

Wood burning stove
Bought this stove about 18 months ago.Installed in my shed (6 mtrs x3mtrs). Have fired it up at least 15 times.temp.in shed approx.12.C. Within 15 minutes, temperature gets up to 26.C.works a treat..(I took the flue through the side wall).. Minimum fuel and great heat output.. cannot fault in any way..

Great little heater for our log cabin
Surprisingly efficient wood stove we use to heat our log cabin. I was doubtful about the heat output but it provides plenty if heat for our 3 x 3 metre cabin. Occasionally we have to keep the door open. Obviously take care with insulation/heat shields and use a suitable flash kit (plus we use a smoke/carbon monoxide alarm) but installing this means we can use our cabin year round.

Practice needed but an effective heat source
So, I've been on two trips with this stove. At first I made the mistake of using briquettes to burn - DON'T DO THAT! They burn far too hot or they go out if you close the air inlet. Then what happens is the flue pipe glows BRIGHT red and makes really scary cracking noises and the tent is unbearably hot. It was a very nervous time so I cowered from it. When I used normal wood, I could fire it up and then turn the temp down by reducing air inlets. But you still get a slightly red crackling flue pipe but not so bad. I wasn't expecting this but the flue diameter is very small so its not like a home stove. It needs almost constant attendance because you can't put large logs in and relax. Don't overdo it! I also don't like (or understand) the tiny holes around the top disc plate. Smoke escapes and can fill your tent when the fire dies down. It isn't so much as to be alarming but too much to sleep with it. I open the tent in 2 places to get a through draft to lessen this but you do lose heat. I can't imagine what I'd do if it was really cold as in autumn because you need a lot of airflow throughout the tent because of that smoke. No good if you have a chest problem. It boils up a kettle well on top if you stoke it up to max. The design is excellent for portability- not too heavy, everything easily packs away quickly. Put it on a hearth of some sort (I have short wooden planks) to prevent your floor getting too hot. I am overall happy with this stove but would have liked better instructions on what to burn and what to expect. My burning flue episode did freak me out! Also after 4 uses, the air inlet wheel is now stuck solid and needs fixing. It's a bit flimsy and is gunked up with soot now. Could have been designed better so as not to stick. I use small pliers to close/open it. It's a lovely cute little stove when you get used to it. Practice needed!
