I got these to make a chain bracelet. The rings are definitely small, but perfect for my purpose as components for a chain. If you want them as a jump ring for a clasp, I would size up. The gold is a nice rich color. It's gold plated stainless steel, so it's definitely not designed for everyday use and continuous wear. Even as such, nothing tarnished in the process of making it (which requires quite a bit of handling). It definitely feels like a stainless steel (not a brass) as it's quite a bit harder than most of the brass alloys I work with. Each ring is closed very precisely (no gaps) which is great for when you don't need to open a ring up. It's closed well enough that sometime it was hard to see the seam to open the ring, which is impressive. For the price it can't be beat.
