Rich flavor does not taste burned. Caffeine is typical for Costa Rica cherries which is jittery. Love the taste. My new go to.

Good coffee and delivery time.

I usually get large bags of coffee, and I don’t review very much. But overall? From their Ethiopian to the Costa Rican, the roasting is on point, it’s fresh, and it’s got all the notes I would expect from the respective coffees at the roasting levels they sell. It’s good coffee, and the price is better than I spend for a lot of my coffee. These guys are my go-to.

This is labeled "Dark Roast" but it is absolutely medium. There are beans light enough to be considered light roast.We are dark roast drinkers and this may need to be given away. I had this item on subscription, but am cancelling. We'd return it, but dumped the beans in our glass container and threw away the bag before tasting it.Quality-wise, you can tell this is top notch and the coffee flavor is great. We prefer the taste of dark roast.

Just as good as Costco's Kirkland's old Costa Rica dark roast.
