To answer your question, black soap originated in West Africa and is generally the first treatment in the traditional hammam ritual, it is rich in vitamin E and is antimicrobial and detoxifying properties, as well as aromatic to the senses It deep cleans the skin, making it softer to prepare for exfoliation, and also it aids at diminishing stretch marks. 1) Black soap is used the same way as any regular soap but generates very little foam. Therefore, the black soap has to be applied by massaging moist skin evenly during a hot bath or shower. 2) Leave the soap on for 10 minutes, then scrub the skin vigorously with the Kessa glove. Do not worry if you see dark particles appear: it is simply dry dead skin coming off your body. 3) For best results, continue the treatment with a clay mask of ghassoul and/ our argan oil to maximize hydration (This is optional). I would like to begin by thanking you for your interest and your question. to answer your question , I would say that if you took the small packages, then you can just keep it in the bathroom, as you would use it rather quickly... But if you took one of the 2 large sizes, it is better to keep it refrigerated and only keep a small quantity in the bathroom for a regular use. That will make your soap stay fresher longer.
