If you read and follow the instructions with care, noting the differences between them and what most rattle can paints require, you will learn that degreasing with mineral spirits or the like is a no-no. So do not do that. Do not prime. Do not do anything whatsoever beyond what are in the instructions. AND GIVE PROPER DRY TIMES ON BOTH ENDS. Do NOT respray after it says, or before it says, and ALLOW SEVEN DAYS MINIMUM BEFORE USING PART AT ALL. Seven days is the correct cure time. If you fail in any of these steps it will scratch and peel like you would expect plastic car parts to scrape and peel. If you do your job properly this stuff is FANTASTIC. I am re-doing the color of all my interior plastics in my 2003 Jeep Wrangler with this paint. It should be safe from UV, rain, dirt, gravel, etc. as I did the plastic wheel covers on my 2001 Honda Accord. They have been painted with this stuff (and in regular use) on my car for about seven months now, with no visible damage whatsoever. No blisters, no scrapes, no gouges, no peeling, no discoloration. They look GREAT. The finish is a dull semi-gloss, but they make this paint in a clear that works well and is just as tough. My wheel covers were poorly repainted by the dealership as a part of hiding all the crap in our two-year off-lease Certified, Pre-Owned car. It started to peel right away. Also, it was a brighter silver than the factory paint. When we repainted the 2001 car with a 2013 Civic color (Blue Dyno Pearl 2) the ratty wheel covers looked particularly sad. It was actually rather tragic. I promised myself to buy some nice alloy rims. And then I ran out of money for this project. So I decided to refinish the plastic covers that came on the steelies. (I painted the rims, too, but with a different pant, of course.) The long and the short of it is that I actually like these things now, so what was to be an inexpensive way to get by until alloy rims could be bought have now moved the rims to the "whenever I get to them" type of purchase. The repainted rims and covers came out nice. The color was a brushed nickel, I think. I would have liked it a bit lighter, but the silver was out of stock at the time of my purchase. With the dark blue paint they look pretty good, though, so who really cares? This some excellent plastic paint if you follow the written procedures, which, again, are not like what you may be expecting. Very highly recommended!

I used this to paint an old antron 99 cb antenna which is an antenna with wire in cased in a fiberglass tube. It worked great to give the antron 99 a fresh new look. I got the idea from cb radio magazine "paint your fiberglass antenna" and also shakespeare antenna website .Can you paint your antenna? I used 3 coats with a light sanding with 1000 grit paper between coats. You must use a paint that does not have any metal particles or lead in it

These are great if... You stick with the darker colors. I thought the Butter Cream would drive me to huff it. The lighter colors are more powdery while the dark more slick. The result is easier coverage and both a better appearance and wear. The lighter shades create a huge cloud of powder which covers you and chips much easier defeating the entire purpose of repainting. My faves are this Navy and the Burgundy. Also good were the OSHA Orange and the school bus Yellow. The White looks very institutional, like nurses shoe's white, and was totally unappealing. I used these paints to repaint a ton of old plastic garden containers. The only ones to end up looking like something cheap from Home Depot were the white ones. We hated them so much on our patio, we donated them to our building to be used elsewhere. Prep the surface! Just b/c it says you don't have to do too much for prep, go online and learn about prepping plastic for painting. The ones I prepped more have fared better. Also, don't expect too much. If you are reckless with them, they will scratch and chip. I was careful and am happy. However, I declined painting the plastic chairs my bldg has on the common patio, something I had planned to do. I do not think these paints, even the darker colors could withstand the abuse a plastic stacker chair endures. So, for something somewhat stationary, you shouldn't have issues. You stick to less expensive colors. The prices fluctuate wildly from $12 for a can of White to $2.50 for a can of Burgundy and are constantly changing. Next month the White could be $3 and the Burgundy, $12. Some of the colors go far and some = 1.5 - 2 cans to get a 20" planter painted. Suddenly your cheap dress-up for a plastic planter costs $25. Add the labor + time and other materials like mask, gloves, drop cloths, it makes more sense to recycle your old ones and buy new. So try to choose cheaper colors especially at first as your learning to use it for maximum coverage etc. So, I do recommend the product if you are willing to go the necessary distance not to be unhappy with the results.

My house shutters were terribly faded and needed to be replaced. Figuring that I had nothing to lose, I ordered the Hunter Green Krylon spray paint and my husband and I spent half a day removing, washing, and then painting 6 sets of shutters (two sets were tall, over 6'). It was a surprisingly easy project; the paint was great to work with and provided excellent coverage with two to three light coats. I couldn't be happier with the results and nine months later (with a blisteringly hot summer) they still look perfect. I saved a ton of money by doing this rather than buying new shutters. I purchased 8 cans but only needed 5.

Mothers spend so much money decorating their babies nursery to end of with a drab Diaper Genie. Ten years ago I started spray painting Diaper Genies. I take round price stickers and strategically place on the DG and spray paint. When I remove the stickers it leaves polka dots! Recently I was unable to locate Krylon Fushion in the color Melon. I ended up having to go with another brand. It was disastrous and ruined the DG. Thank goodness I was able to order from Amazon! This paint is flawless and dries quickly. I will NEVER use any other brand!!!

Easy to use on faded outdoor artificial plant. Restored deep green color. Dries quickly - doesn't transfer when touched.

Product once full cured is safe for use inside aquarium. Takes a few coats to achieve full coverage and a flawless finish.

I would say it's good but the paint stripped down after a couple of weeks. You have to sand the plastic to apply this.

Look like laminated on mdf

I have used this product on my 2007 Jeep Rubicon. I tried a test patch at first, as the label suggests, then I used it on the two plastic panels below the doors that were beat up and a little rusty. They are coated with plastic which is why I bought this product. It worked very well and looks great. I will apply a second coat. Only time will tell if it continues to look good, i.e. winter conditions. It doesn't feel like regular paint at all, it has a thicker, stickier texture. I recommend wearing gloves when applying it, I got it all over my hands and it wasn't easy getting it off, especially under my nails.
