Did not work with 802.3BT
Did it work? well sort of.... I got a new NetGear WAX630 Wi-Fi 6 access point that requires 802.3bt POE++ to operate at full specification. Got these because they not only claimed to be fully 802.3bt compatible at 60W but also 2.5/5gig speed on the data side, which I guessed would be good for futureproofing. Well, my NetGear WAX630 powered up and ran, but complained that it was only getting power at 802.3at which meant my Access Point was throttled to half its capable speed. The required wattage for the Access Point is only around half of what this adapter is apparently capable of delivering. So, I decided to order a different brand slightly cheaper 802.3bt POE++ injector and that worked perfectly. No nag on my access point that it was only being fed power at 802.3at anymore. Would therefore not recommend these to anyone looking to power an 802.3bt POE++ device.
