We don't buy anything else! We make hot cocoa with this almost every night during the cold winter. It's high quality and tastes great and is surprisingly affordable.

This really is remarkably better than the most popular cocoa powders that you’re likely to find at the grocery store (like Hershey’s and Nestle). It’s deeply chocolately, smooth, and complex. The old standbys taste flat and dustlike by comparison. I use it for baking, smoothies, hot cocoa, and mochas (iced or hot, just stir a tablespoon into a cup of coffee).

There are quite a few different baking cocoa powders out there. I originally found this product at Costco, and as usual with Costco, it was a great product at a low price. But it is now discontinued. I was happy to find it on Amazon, because the flavor is exquisite, and the price is still very reasonable! So good, I bought two!

I am sure texture is not the word you expected to see in the review, but I use this to make iron skillet fudge. When I do, everyone raves over the flavor and the final texture of the food. It really pushes your recipe over the top, regardless if you are making a simple chocolate cake or doing something much more extravagant. A bit more expensive than the can stuff at the store, but you will know you used the good stuff!

This stuff is so fabulous that I end of using a little less than a recipe calls for. I use it for all types of baking, sauces, and candy.

I used to get this cocoa from Costco, but they stopped carrying it. I keep it in a shaker for our morning coffee ritual. And it can’t be beat for baking. I can also use less than what the recipe calls for, because the flavor is so robust.
