Ditch your old shorts... Separatec is underwear for the modern man!
When I first saw this brand, and it separation concept, I thought, “yeah right, that will feel super weird!” I initially moved on, thinking I would buy a more traditional style of underwear. After an extensive search on Amazon and reading many reviews, I decided that based on the excellent reviews, I would give Separatec a try. I am glad that I did, and now, I am going to add my own positive review of this comfortable underwear. The Separatec Men's Underwear 3 Pack Basic Bamboo Rayon Soft Breathable Dual Pouch Briefs, are extremely comfortable. They bamboo rayon is very soft, and the shape of the briefs are excellent. They do not bunch up, and they do not ride up either. The concept of the dual pouch is something I thought I would not like, but I actually love it. It keeps your goods separated, which in turn, keeps them nice and dry. The “port-hole” design with covering pouch is genius! It makes going to the bathroom extremely easy. They only downside is that I have to remember when I am wearing other underwear other than Separatec because I become accustomed to the ease-of-access. If you are on the fence about whether this concept is too extreme for you, jump in; embrace it! You will be extremely happy that you did. These are the best underwear I have worn! My complaint about remembering when I am not wearing Separatec underwear has an easy fix that I plan to make immediately: get rid of all other underwear. Separatec is all you will ever need or want!

I am Free! These are the most comfortable underwear, I have ever had!
My wife ordered these for me. I had issues with the sweaty, sticky always itching problem for as long as I can remember. I have tried different powders, but that only helps for so long, and if you use to much it gets pasty from all the moisture on those hot days. I have been going between briefs, boxers, boxer briefs and even Camando for years, trying to find something that was comfortable for me. When I would get home from work I couldn’t wait to take my underwear off and take a shower. When they arrived , I thought it was a little strange with the design and putting your manhood through a hole in the fabric, but I had never seen or tried anything like this before, and after reading the funny little insert that came in the box, I decided to give them a try. I had purchased the 3 pack briefs. I washed a pair of them and wore them for a day, and it was surprisingly comfortable. It almost felt like the guys were free to move around, almost like I was wearing nothing, but without all the stickyness and moisture. The second great thing about these is the fly. It’s not the normal kind of fly other underwear have. There is no fishing around trying to get thing out when you gotta go. It’s kinda like a convertible. You just lift from the bottom of the pouch area, things flop out, and when you are done, you just put the top back on. Simple and quick. The size is true to fit. I am also the father of 6 adult men.One of my boys purchased some of the boxer briefs and he swears by them, says that they are super comfy. I would recommend these just for the simple fact that they are really comfortable and the weirdness of putting your junk through a hole in your underwear goes away after you wear them for a day. I will be getting more as I have 3 pairs, and will getting rid of the other brands that I have.

Best Separatec Yet!
These are the ones. The perfect fit. I've been wearing exclusively separatec for about a year now and this new style brief is the best of any style I have tried so far. I am a 32 waist 6' 210 lbs and normally wear the size L in briefs and size M in boxer briefs from separatec. I ordered the M in brief this time to see how it went and I have done laundry twice this week just to continue to wear these. Compared to the other bamboo briefs (3 pack rayon red blue green) these offer a lower cut on the waist, and the pouch design has somehow slightly changed to be *kisses fingertips* absolutely perfect. I slide them on and forget about them until I take them off, they're that comfortable. Seriously. No adjustment AT ALL (compared to what little there already is against regular underwear) and they keep me the perfect temperature all day. Already ordered another 3 pack and tempted to get a third. If you're thinking about this underwear as a first time buyer of Separatec or a veteran with other pairs you 100% will not regret the purchase either way. Do your nuts a favor and buy them.

Good quality, but pouch could be bigger
Edited - August 2021 - I’m upping my rating on these, mainly because of Separatec’s customer service. I emailed them about these and they got right back to me with a partial (but generous) refund. I used it towards a 3-pack of David Archy cotton model blend pouch briefs. (Separatec and DA are sister companies BTW.) ————————- The good: They are well made - evenly sewn, no loose threads, holes, or anything. The overall fit is good, not awkward. The stick naturally went into the hole as I pulled them on. I’m average and a grower - it felt like Mr. Stick would stay in place all day and not back out. The bad: As others have noted, the pouch for the berries could be bigger. I have average sized ones and I like them well separated from my leg - these weren’t quite doing it. Of course if your berries are on the small side and/or you don’t need total separation, these would probably be fine. Personally: I didn't find the double pouches to overall feel much different then the single pouch on DA briefs I’ve bought. That’s just me. (Though I could see myself appreciating these more if I lived in a hot climate.) I was hoping to return these and order a pack of the David Archy pouch briefs instead, but I just missed the return window by two days. Aaargh. :( (For the record, I hear the pouch is bigger on some of the Separatec longer-legged products - their trunks and boxer briefs.)

Definitely better than traditional
Perfect sizing. The soft material actually feels great. (I was concerned it would feel flimsy or feminine. Nope.) Once you're wearing them, the difference isn't something you notice all day long, but the separation is definitely an improvement. I chose the briefs. You don't need any extra manipulation to put them on - the entrance opening is in the perfect location and things go smoothly, and you don't even have to think about it. (You may take a look to see where things went, but for me the johnson is always in his assigned seat.) Using the urinal is a very small adjustment, knowing where to grab & open, but if you were using the Y-front opening before, this is way better. Or if you just grabbed the leg hole & pulled it aside, then this is a different technique. Reviews for certain dual-pouch underwear say the waste-band is too wide or stiff, but right from day-1 that thought never crossed my mind. Maybe that was previous versions. These are pretty darn soft & comfortable. If you thought this would feel sexy to wear, well - it's actually kind of a "normal" feeling. Which is good! I'm glad I got them, and couldn't be happier with these underwear or suggest any design changes. I now think I'd love to replace all the rest of the underwear in my drawer at home. but at over $9 per piece, I can't justify that. I AM enjoying the three-pack though! Great job, Separatec!

good overall but tight around the nuts.
I generally like separatec. I like these briefs too, overall. I like them in closer fitting dress pant or for workouts, even though that’s not their advertised purpose. I will say I wish the spot for the twins was a little more generous, even considering a relatively average sized guy. The leading man is just fine in his pouch, but the wingmen, while fine in the separatec trunks (which are great) run out of room in the briefs and end up getting pinched in leg elastic or squirming out the hole to the front pouch. maybe with less fabric overall the back pouch is more constrained.

Soft and the updated pouch design makes these feel like wearing nothing at all
This is for the updated version of these briefs (different visually by the larger pouch and small rubber lettering on the waistband). I'm a huge fan of Separtec/David Archy products but the new pouch design took an already comfortable design and made it even better. The older design gave a feeling of your shaft being closely held against the ball pouch and didn't give much wiggle room where the new design gives you room to adjust and move with room to stretch. The seam down the center can sometimes be noticed but not enough to cause discomfort. The material is very soft and stretchy but still taught enough to give a satisfying snap sound if stretched. Additionally the materials texture avoid the problem other briefs made of cotton can have of rubbing against the groin and causing irritation. Everything above also applies to the latest micro modal variation as well. The main difference between these bamboo rayon ones and these micro modal is the bamboo have a subtle but noticeable lighter feel to them and a slight bit more stretchiness to them (though either are plenty stretchy). You can't go wrong with either fabric but bamboo rayon wins for my personal preference.

Comfortable
The important aspect of these undies is separation and comfort. They offer both. I have wore similar styles and find these to be the most comfortable. For those of you who have not wore this type of underwear but are considering them, I recommend giving them a try. I was reluctant to try these at first because the demonstrations and photos show the pocket for the twig as some refer to it, was just a flap. That is not the case, there is a full pocket for both the berries and the twig. So the twig is not just hanging out there. Quality seems to be good. I will buy more.
