You spend hundreds of £ pounds on a converter And still unable to use it because the remote control takes a special battery Which I would of thought it would be supplied with the inverter when purchased Cheap skate brings to mind Not happy at all😡😡😡😡😡

ok, so running of two off grid solar panels, works well. runs 900 watts with ease so far.. battery terminals reasonably good quality, serious problem though with the two offered plug sockets, they are inferior, loose, poor quality. bear in mind this is the 230 volt side and quality assured should of been a priority for quality of these sockets. plugs are so loose i feel that if plugs could easily simply fall out, there is a danger or loose plugs could cause fire with 230 volt .now unless the supplier reads this and offers a replacement before i can return this one i am not sure this unit is actually up to the job especially with this concern being 230 volt side. display is adequate, leads supplied good quality although short, remote control comes with NO battery and is of a very specific design so not sure i can obtain a battery to see if this feature works. i doubt given its performance and aggressive fan reaction at just 900 watts that this unit would offer 8000 watts at all never mind 4000 watts, but time will tell i suppose. to reiterate for potential buyers and supplier information -- 2 x plug sockets inferior design, leads are short, remote needs unusual non standard battery. all in all not sure this is going to do the job,

To be fair, I bought this item as a near new product from Amazon warehouse. It had probably been returned by a previous customer who I believe wired it incorrectly causing the cooling fans to burn out. It arrived on time, I thought I was clever by saving 30 odd quid, till I wired it up. It did boil a kettle easily, however, the cooling fans never kicked in, smoke started pouring out the back. I immediately disconnected it, and sent it back. I umm'd and ahhh'd about buying a new one of the same brand, but unfortunately, this experience put me off. A brand new item may have performed perfectly. I ended up buying a recommended well known brand at nearly twice the price. Lesson learned. Just because it's Amazon Warehouse, and cheaper, it's not necessarily the better option.

Brought one of these in July its now Jan so that I can run my business remotely out in the middle of nowhere if I needed power, worked fine for a month or two (very light use) it struggles to run a 1200w heat gun it keeps stopping and starting very frustrating be careful when buying
