I haven’t had this fruit/spice in a very long time. I come from west Africa and it’s very common to use it for our traditional/native soup. It’s also used for other health benefits. I was skeptical at first from buying from Amazon because I was afraid I would be disappointed. But this had that original aroma that I had always know it to have. I used it to make pepper soup and other soup. I will definitely buy again from this vendor.

The Aida fruit aka precede is used in West Africa to alleviate menstrual cramps and increase fertility. The recipe I use is the following 1 liter of filtered water that you bring to a boil Add 2 Aida pieces. Let it boil for 15 min and let it cool down before drinking a cup in the morning and another one in the afternoon. Disclaimer: I am not a physician so do your research before using this product.

Beware...When I received my first order it was well packaged and presented and the Aidan fruits were good. However upon placing my second order. It came in a different package and the Aidan fruits were small, bruised and moldy. Absolutely unacceptable.

The Aidan Fruit (Prekese) arrived on time, in good condition (whole, unbroken, free of mold and debris), good quality and fresher than most, fresher than expected. I received 6 pieces of fruit (1 extra piece, a little smaller than the others). I would recommend to others.
