Good, but not 100% waterproof;The tiny flimsy rubber seal failed first time opening to change the batteries- i had to modifyUses tiny batteries not as easily available as say AAA batteries.Handy carabiner clip.Glow is good, but would NOT rate as 'dependable' safety equipment.Good enough, just.

We live in the countryside where there are lots of stretches of no streetlights, ever since my eldest daughter was a older baby if driving after dark we needed lights of some kind to settle her in these dark stretches and previously used glowsticks, until the breakage horror and we bought the green version (still going 3 years on) this was bought for little sister after reading that red light is healthier for night lights as it doesn't disrupt hormone processes plus they like to play star wars with them.Brilliant for your bag/keys and car and much more practical than single use glowsticks, they can also be clipped onto a zip so you can see your child much easier if visiting an attraction or event after dark and they can be settled easier if it's dark.

these are not rechargeable and I'm not sure I can even replace the battery without destroying something, very disappointed such a wasteful way to make electronics. would have been 5 stars otherwise

I used the glow sticks to hang on the outside of my tent, so I could spot the tent ⛺ easily at night, it worked. I've always used glow sticks, mainly the chemical type and I often wondered what happens to the environment if and when these type break down, now I recycle the batterys 🔋

Great glow stick that can be reused...more than happy with it.Really wanted the blue one but wasn't going to pay double the price of the other colours.... so I was disappointed in that.
