This is one of the best 10w50 engine oil available in India at the moment. Made in India and for India especially due to our climate condition and riding style.The packaging has changed since Castrol has updated it's logo in 2024.I have been using this engine oil in my Jawa 42, Yezdi Roadster and my friends Pulsar RS200 and NS200 and recently purchased Triumph Speed 400.I have purchased 2 ltrs of the oil this time for my Meteor 350. Though RE says 15w50 and semi-synthetic, I have changed it for performance reasons, mileage, heating issues. This oil is being used since 2 years on my bike and i feel the price fully justifies the value of the product.After an extensive research i found out that this Engine Oil is made from a mix of Group 3 - Group 4 oils and is fully synthetic in nature.During one of my long rides, I could say that the oil performed really well and the bike has not given me any sorts of engine related problems till date.Even though the oil didn't lose its properties, I change this oil at 8k kms as Castrol says 12k limit but i change it beforehand.I used to blindly believe in Motul oils before due to their Ester branding tech on the bottle but during these years I have found motul to have evaporation loss in 2-3 months of usage and have found that they are mostly not suitable for Indian climates.Well to each his own, I am using this product since the launch times and found it to be very good backed by the Scientific side as well as practical aspect.For those who want the numbers, here it is belowDensity - 0.8535Viscosity@40 - 116Viscosity@100 - 17.25Viscosity Index - 165Pour Point - -36cFlash Point - 208cTBN - 7.8

Good product

It is really good engine oil. Acceleration is top off the level. It helps to keep engine smooth and improved mileage. No over heating and vibrating range is very low. Perform better at high speed.

This is the review writing after completing 2200 km. Engine's smooth lost. Engine vibration started heating issue started.When i put the fresh oil the engine was butter smooth after completing 1500 km vibration started. After 2200 km vibration and heating issue is increased. But the oil is value for money and milage is improved.
