I’m addicted…
I found a bottle a few months ago at Home Goods while the weather was still chilly and I was thinking about warm, yummy drinks. When I use a tablespoon of the vanilla syrup I don’t need any other sweetener. I’ve made a habit of using a milk alternative in my coffee/tea and I’m enjoying both the sweetened vanilla and the unsweetened vanilla versions of those milk substitutes paired with the Portland Vanilla Syrup. I almost feel like a barista in my own kitchen!

Makes great chai lattes
Like most people, I can’t stand paying $6.00-$7 for a chai latte where I usually walk away feeling really disappointed in the flavor. Sure I have made my own chai concentrate before but it’s really hard to filter out all the ground spices. This comes out to $1.25 per oz and you need 1 oz for a chai latte. Factor in my local roasted coffee at $.93/serving and 2% milk at $0.35/serving; it costs me less than $3 to make a chai latte at home using this product. It’s cheaper and tastes so much better than most lattes I have ordered. Just buy this if you like chai lattes. I think I could even get away with putting in 1/2 oz serving. 1 oz (30ml) is perfection but honestly I might stretch it out a bit with adding half a serving.I use a moka pot to make my strong coffee which gives me about 80-90g of brewed coffee. Then I warm up about 200ml of 2% milk. Put the chai concentrate in my milk jug first then add the warmed milk and use a hand frother. Perfection!

Lavender syrup
Wow I’m very impressed. I bought this for my coffee but got it late at night so I tried some in my tea and wow! I am sooo mellowed and relaxed (I’m assuming from the lavender) I had to double check and make sure there’s no drugs in the ingredients LOL the flavor is so good and not sweet or artificial tasting. Alittle pump goes a long way. Definitely recommend if you like lavender. I got vanilla as well so now I’m excited to try that one too.

Concentrated, last long, true lavender taste!
Absolutely love this lavender syrup! Now I can make those lavender flavored drinks like from Starbucks but without spending so much money! Seems like it’s made of all good ingredients too, which is very important to me.

Wow! Use it in matchas or lavender
I added a teaspoon to matcha powder and oatmilk and a pack of Whole Earth zero calorie sweetener( sold by Amazon and used at high end coffee shops in the past.) It was a scrumptious drink very similar to those touted as Lavender Matcha at, you know, THAT place. Just blend it up in a small drink blender and you’ve got it.UpNlend

Bomb diggity vanilla syrup
I’ve been looking for a vanilla syrup for awhile and everything is either packed with sugar or full of fake sugar which I hate. This stuff tastes so good!
