Little to say... It was just what I needed for my Epson Stylus Pro 4800 and it intalled easly and the the price was right.No fuss and quick to install. This maintenance tank holds a great deal of excess ink. The absorbent cotton lining holds the ink in with leaking.

If you have a large format Epson printer, then you might have had to replace one of the Maintenance Tanks already. It's really not much more than a plastic box with super-absorbant material in it. The fact that Epson puts a microchip on this is ridiculous and comes down to one thing... making money from you long after you paid of the printer. To me it looked like it could have held more ink before the machine refused to print any more. Oh well... the choice was to buy this or let that expensive printer become a paperweight. By the way, the product works well.. but so would a bucket.

I was nervous when the right-side maintenance tank on my Epson 9900's warning light came on - 90% full. I had no idea what a maintenance tank was or how difficult it was to change it, but the Epson 9900 guide does warn that if one of the maintenance tanks become completely full, the machine will cease to print. I ordered the part from Amazon, double-checking the tank model #, which should be compatible with my machine. It was delivered quickly. I was amazed how easy it was to change, it just slides right in and out of the machine. Tip to extend the life of your maintenance tank if you have an Epson 9900 or similar model that has a left and right tank, the right tank will fill a LOT faster then the left one, so when you notice the right tank at around 50%, swap the left and right tanks. Also, this tank works on both the right and left sides, they are cross-compatible, so you not need to keep a left-tank and right-tank around, just one backup maintenance tank will be fine, you can use it in either side.

It's difficult to get excited about a printer ink maintenance tank, but this purchase went great. Ordered in a couple of clicks. It arrived as promised in great shape. The unit is a genuine Epson and popped right into my 4880. Everything works like a charm.

When you need to change the waste ink tank, you need to change the ink tank. This item is over priced but works great. There is probably generic versions or ways to empty and waste ink tank, but for a few $ it is not that expensive. If you seldom need to unclog the heads then you will not need to replace the tank often.

It is a factory part, it fits well, when it is full you throw it out. The absorbent material should be cleanable some say, but really. I think not getting ink everywhere and on my hands it is worth it. I will be buying more, as I do print allot so I will fill it allot.

Even though the original equipment part is no longer available, the replacement Maintenance Tank available from Epson fit perfectly. The Owner's manual for my Epson Stylus Pro 7600 provided clear instruction. The printer is operating properly with the new part.

Ein notwendiges Ersatzteil, ohne den es bei meinem Epson Drucker nicht geht. Funktioniert gut und wie er soll - Schnelle Lieferun aber Preislich leider kein Schnäppchen und wie ich finde für das bisschen Plasik zu teuer!
