Not Going to Appeal to Most Teen Boys
I gave it three stars because the book's content is fine but knocked a few off because it is marketed for Teens. It is a Teen edition. This would imply all teens. I do realize pink doesn't have to mean girly but for most people it does. This book is feminine. It doesn't really matter how good the content is if the styling puts off the intended target. In this case my son. There is no way he is going to open a book with a bunch of pink pages and hearts and think 'this is for me!' It would have been great if the editors had stuck with the cover and gone more neutral (just throwing out ideas: greys, yellows, trendy geometric shapes...) or just called it a book for teen girls.

Great for teenagers
I teach 10th grade and I bought two copies of this for two of my students who were going through a rough time and learning to cope and sort through their emotions. They both filled up the journal in a matter of weeks and said that it helped them to be able to write down their thoughts/tear up the pages.

Such a great concept for bringing out your kids inner butterfly and getting em off the c.phones!
Bought for my angsty, introspective teen. For Christmas. I love it and I think I should have bought an extra for myself and Im in my, gasp, forties. Maybe fifties, i aint sayin. Seriously insightful prompts...questions...things to think about. I hope she will actually do it..Maybe we could even do it together..Like a mother daughter bonding thing. I think its genius, really. If your kid has a creative soul and likes to write, it is the perfect any time gift for ages 11 to 60. Boy or girl.

Fun for the whole family.
I got these books for my teenage girls and got the regular version for myself. At night we will all grab our books and answer a few questions. Sometimes we share our answers or sometimes we will just share the question we are answering. Even if we don't share our answers with each other it's fun to just sit together and think a little more deeply about our lives.

cannot fault,
This is a lovely little book, I bought this for myself (and I am twenty years young and I enjoyed this immensely) it's a wonderful little book filled to the brim with all sorts of cute and curious questions about myself and my life. Music, pets, parents, favorite foods and such. I would recommend this to anyone, any teenager, boy or girl regardless on outlook on life, style and education. I cannot fault, I loved writing and answering every question. I'd do it all over again if I could.

Great Keepsake!
I got this for my 11 year old niece, but I would happily have one for myself.I loved the questions, and the idea that it is not a typical diary is great. If my niece actually fills it in it will be the best keepsake for when she is older!

Overall it's pretty interesting...
I've bought this book for my daughter and she says that It's not exactly what she expected, but that doesn't mean it's bad. You write about things from your past, present and future, so I personally think it's pretty good.
