Air Lift89365 LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus Air Suspension Kit

So I finally broke down and bought the Loadlifter 5000 Ultimate Plus kit and with my son in law's help we installed them. I put 3 out of 5 for install since they are not easy to install, but install went fine. Would have been easier if we had removed the rear springs, but he thought we could do it without removing the springs, which we did, but it made it take longer and it wasn't easy. Removing the springs would have taken a few minutes and would've made it much easier to drill holes for the mount. If you have the tools and the time it's not overly complicated. Now as far as how well they perform. The difference in towing with my 2017 Ram 1500 5.7 is night and day. I tow a 30 ft Jayco Jayflight camper. Fully loaded it's probably around 7,000 lbs. I have a weight distribution hitch and sway control, which helps with sag. The noticeable difference is in how it handles bumps and helps with steering. I set mine to 40-50lbs with my trailer on and ride height is about the same as it is without the trailer. We had a few longer trips this year and this made towing so much better!!!

Installed on 2022 Ram pulling 30 ft 5 th wheel no squat in truck after Install. About a three hour job with mechanical experience would definitely install on my next vehicle

Liked that it was able to raise my truck higher than level only .Bumper built in is a great feature

Other than cutting out the bump stop they fit pretty good. Wish they would've kept the version that clamps on but once its on your good to go but I did connect them together so if by chance one blows both will go down and it won't make me wreck lol update 1 year later do not put the airlines together makes your truck sway back and forth to easy and makes your wife get car sick faster lolUpdate 1 year later. BMF!!! Still works wonderfully.

I had these installed by a mechanic friend if mine. Everything works great. I had this installed with a air compressor. Ride is so much smoother.
