Exedy 06009 for the 81-83 280Zx base coupe 5 speed
This is the clutch for the 81-83 280Zx 5 speed transmission, base model. However, make sure you fit the clutch plate to the input shaft PRIOR to installation. When installing mine, I did not do that and ended up wrestling with the transmission for about 15 minutes. I checked the spline alignment with the alignment tool several times and then decided to try the clutch plate on the input shaft. Lo and behold, it had a small bur that wasn't effecting the alignment tool, but wouldn't let the shaft slide in properly. I lightly filed the bur and the transmission slid in without issue. So far, the clutch is excellent, better than stock but not a racing clutch. It is an excellent replacement clutch for your daily.

Great clutch for the price.
This clutch fit my 1989 Nissan 240sx2.4L SOHC motor. Pilot bearing didn't fit but I left the one tha car had since I had changed the clutch only six months before. Great packaging, fast shipping, clutch fit perfect and is very smooth. Although the clutch pedal feels very light with this setup, the clutch grips pretty good, minimal slip. Still breaking it in so no real stress testing yet. Satisfied so far.

Lowest priced clutch kit for S13.
USDM 1990 Nissan 240SX. I've paired this OEM replacement clutch and pressure plate with an OEM replacement flywheel; feels just like the OEM parts. I didn't use the grease that came with the kit, because I had previously purchased a giant tube of premium Molybdenum grease, and I couldn't use the pilot bushing that came with the kit because it was the wrong size; much too small for the S13. I don't know if this was a lapse in quality control specific to my kit, or if EXEDY simply provided the wrong size pilot bushing for their product, but I highly recommend comparing the OEM pilot bushing with the EXEDY pilot bushing, inserting the clutch alignment tool, before trying to line-up the transmission to the engine. However, being the lowest priced OEM clutch kit for the S13, I can't complain... the kit is still an excellent value even after buying the correctly sized pilot bushing separately.

Update: The Exedy 06009 clutch kit is for the non-turbo 2 seater nissan 280zx coupe as verified by Exedy corp. with a clutch disc dia. of 225mm. the Exedy o6032 is for the turbo or 2+2 model and its clutch disc is 240mm
